FA Cup game against Spurs, 2nd leg at Bramall Lane precisely when Che Adams got his second to level the score. Even Pottuchino said it's the loudest he'd ever seen a ground celebrate a goal.
Spurs was a league Cup semi and a really good game.

I think potch was Southampton manager that year, and we'd done them earlier in the cup

The noise at that Southampton game was immense. We'd barely had a kick, when one of our forwards chased a full back down and he sliced it out for a throw. The crowd went bonkers and the tie turned on that moment

Great idea. Just when I'm about to post I see another one pop up

Brownie goal against pigs game

Villa away in the 4th round of the FA cup

Forest at home the same season

4-2 at hillsborough

1-1 versus Arsenal under Bassett when they were really good and we matched them. We finished 9th.

Forest play off semi probably the one for the absolute roller coaster of a night

What game would you revisit and why ?

It needs to be in your lifetime, i.e not the cup final v Cardiff in `26 .

You may have been there, or you may have missed it ....

For me .... it's the 5-1 victory v Cardiff City in 1971 - my first full season going to the Lane , i missed that great game because i was too young to go by myself on a Tuesday night , and my Uncle Mick was working nights at Treeton pit (i went to the games with my hero, Uncle Mick, when i first started attending matches) .

What's yours ???

I would redo Blades v Southend in the first Wilder season. Except I would just stay in the pub rather than get in at 0-3

The OP's question is about having wished you went to a game that you didnt go to in your lifetime. Most of the replies arent right!

Mine will be the 5-0 win against Arsenal in September 1973. I was at a school near Newbury at the time and In the next morning I couldnt believe what I was reading in the papers.

I saw Alan Ball sitting on the ball when Arsenal beat us 5-0 at the Lane in January 1972 and when I received a letter from my dad a few days after our 5-0 win, he was telling me that TC had sat on the ball in front of the stunned Alan Ball near the end of the match, I was gutted to have missed that!

It says"revisit, you may have or have not been there"🤔

A game I missed, would be any of the times we've won at Hillsbrough in my lifetime. Only been there twice (League Cup tie in 2001(?), and the league game under Bryan Robson - lost both. Just being present to see us win there would be delightful.

One I was there for - Fulham away, FA Cup 4th round replay, Feb 4th 2014. That match was fucking dreadful, but I still vividly remember chanting from start to finish, and then going absolutely bonkers when Shaun Miller nodded home the winner. I'm not sure I've ever been as joyous at winning a game as I was for that one.
