He wasn’t in their squad today either so you’d think he’s off somewhere, would love someone like that here, has a fantastic cross on him.

He's someone I think our recruitment team and manager like. We tried for him two years ago didn't we?

Thing is we are looking at loans and frees so non starter for us. Unless its like a swap deal.

If he's available I'd imagine Wilder would be interested. But I'd imagine Albion would prefer a permanent sale if he's going.

Our current manager and coaching set up will soon knock all that 'direct running and crossing' shit out of him. Before you know it he'll be stopping, putting his foot back on it and passing it ten yards back to Burrows just like the rest of them.

Whatever we bring in, they'll be mis-managed and have any flair coached out of them. Turgid shit is all we can possibly hope for at Sheffield United.

At least the manager got to have another dig at the fans though after Saturday as we had 'slightly better stats that Swansea', after he was criticised for the Birmingham borefest.

'Run a mile', Mikey!

Just trying to work out why you finish this diatribe with “UTB” … I can only assume it means something different to you.

Another one overrated by our fanbase who probably have only ever seen him play 1 or twice.
You have to ask the question why are WBA letting him leave ?
Let Derby have him.
There’s overrated or people can sometimes you know just rate someone. I watch quite a bit of football, not just, at times, our robotic and methodical stuff, admittedly it’s needed under the circumstances, I watch probably too much to be fair, we could really do with someone who has real quality at delivering a football, he has that in abundance, our strikers are deprived of service and he can give that.

As to answer your second part, why did we let Gus go? Why did we let Brooks go? Why does any club let anyone go?

Didn't Brooks and Gus go for Millions and wanted to go ?
We haven't got a bag of Haribo's to spend so if its a loan why are WBA letting him go to a rival on loan if they rate him ?
We wouldn't let Cooper go out on loan to WBA would we.

They went because we had to balance the books, the point was there’s a whole lot of different reasons why players leave their respective clubs. I’m not sure of Johnston circumstances.

Brookes went because we offered to up his wage from between £4-6k a week to £15,000 and Norwich offered him thirty odd. Silly money really and I don’t think he was worth that much of an increase, but shows where we are compared to our divisional rivals.

Being intentionally vague with figures so as not to get anybody into any shit.

Brooks left in order for us comply with FFP for last season which is why his transfer came out of nowhere and was completed quickly before the 1st July

I believed it was to balance the books but I’ll stand corrected mate.
