Sheffield United 0 - 0 Birmingham City - FULL TIME - The game finishes goalless

(posted automagically from the match)

We are wank

Wilder is wank

My 9 year old has just said it’s one of the most boring games he’s ever watched

So either

A) we have a shit team and the player are t good enough - in which case major reinforcements are needed.

B) team is good enough in whcihbwileer is shit and can fuck off …

So which is it ??
Alan Knil 3 - 0 Wimbledon lol

Pluses

We didnt lose but at times looked like we could
Mcg and Tanganga looked solid
Seriki looked a threat down the right first half
One's run down the left was the highlight of the game should have been on much earlier
Coopers handling was good

Minuses

They dominated midfield Solis was everything we lack in the middle.
One shot on target all game
Formation wrong stifles Ohares game
Players seem to be under the impression 4-4-2 is hoof
Bamford and Peck never really in the game
Canon isn't the answer we all know that apart from the manager.

Its a point and no goals conceded but we create little and our frailties are exposed against big physical teams like Brum. Need new recruits otherwise its going to be a long hard season. Seen nothing today to change my view Benjamim Blooms prediction of a 15th place finish was accurate.

Watching in a bar in Spain, with Sky Sports commentary. Why they allow Lee Hendrie to cover our games I will never know. He is so far up Birmingham’s arses I swear all you could see are the sale stickers on his sale price Arnes.
He’s the poison elf

Whichever way you look at it that was just not good enough.

Accepting that we have lost creativity (which was always on the cards - so we should have had a plan to replace ) the lack of any kind of play pattern was shocking.

Absolutely zero composure on the ball. No game management, crossing and passing was abysmal.

I’m a big Wilder fan but that was nowhere near good enough.

Even if you have no money, you can at least have a style of play. How many passes were astray ? How many crosses hit the first man.

The only small highlight was that we didn’t concede. Birmingham were solid enough but they were nothing special at all and we should have beaten them fairly comfortably.

Awful game. Total waste of 94 minutes.
We never looked like stringing three passes together.
Never looked liked scoring.
Zero pace or understanding in attack.
Lost count of the times Cannon lost possession when we needed him just to hang onto it for a minute.
Same as last season we looked scarily open at the back sometimes.
Midfield was often missing, we won very few second balls.

We are dogshit and Brum not much better either.
Gavin Ward was also shite yet again.

On the plus side we got a point.

Performances like that turn into 0-3s and 0-4s away from home, and at home against better teams than Birmingham.
Maybe but I saw two players really stepping up who I didn't think could today. Actually probably three players. Tanganga, McGuinness and Seriki all looked like they were playing for the shirt and were far more up for it then you normally would see.

But but but we want wilder and giving him another contract idiots and idiot fanbase blinded by past utter dinosaur

churns out same interviews lack of quality or blaming losing players play with what you have and never his fault utter dross tactics as usual same old diff season but somehow its never him and the idiots who still stand by him deserve what we get coming to us which is failure

Summary
We look poor. Bottom 10 side
Defence ok
Attack shite
Ref was awful
Cannon is dogger. Get r1 playing much better

Attacker needed urgently loan or not

Wasn't a reyt good watch. We had a chance to win it and so did they. Loads of work to do and I feel about average 🙃.

its a decent point v team most expect to be top 10. rothwell looked improved, tanganga was back to millwall form. Onè has huge potential as many have said on here if cannon cost £10m how much is He worth. & the Defence was decent

on the negatives Cannon is still painful & nothing has changed we are great for 1 half & we dont know which one

Really, really poor today. Chris says in his programme notes that he wants 'accountability and connectivity between all associated with Sheffield United' getting his cliché in early.

Well, if he really wants connection, stop starting Cannon. That price tag is weighing heavy on the lad and he's being played to justify it somehow.

I feel for him now, it's not working and everyone can see it as can our fingerpost lookalike manager. Delightful pointing to the left and right again today.

The South stand toilets are fabulous though.

A wasted afternoon.
