I think most if not all United fans who watched that game today, wouldnt want us to sign Souttar from what we saw.

If Cannon defends like Souttar for the County goal, he gets absolutely battered.

From what ive seen of Souttar over recent games, im not sure he's the player of 2 years ago.

IF United are still interested, its a big risk at the reported fee IMO.

Locked into Souttar like this is just so Sheff Utd. The fair price is 3-4 million. You would think an expensive loan would be more cost effective.
For that Notts County goal he was at fault.

Didn't look like a world cup player in division three tbh

Offer them £1m and tell them theyve had their chance for a higher fee and fucked about so its now a million.

Souttar is a huge gamble. A player with a poor injury record. He is still trying to get back up to speed following a long period out through injury. He is likely to be absent for a minimum of 6 games through international call ups and the Asia cup. Thats not taking into account any injury niggles. His long haul flights to Aussie place a considerable strain on his body. A sensible approach to protect his body would be to let him be rested for the first game following the international break. That would add extra to the absent list.

There is no doubt 2 seasons ago his partnership with Anel was the Best CB pairing in the championship for 12 games. Even then there were signs he was struggling to deal with the demands of the overseas flying. His performance against SISU away being a prime example.

If we could get both Anel with a loan to buy and Souttar then it may be worth pushing the boat out in terms of Souttars fee. The considerable risk is Souttar would break down again and the club would have shelled out millions for a player only capable of playing half a season.

Those responsible for SUFC negotiations should look at todays performance and ask themselves is he really worth the ridiculous fee being asked for? Leicester fans on their forum want him gone. The momentum has shifted back to the Blades. We should draw a line in the sand and say final offer or walk away on Monday. Let Hollywood have him although today will have done nothing to enhance his value.

I'd certainly be making a phone call if I was Bettis saying the transfer fee offer is retracted, here is our new offer at a lower price.

Reynolds flying home to reconsider his bid!

Feck me. If the team on the pitch gave up as easy as a set of fannies on this thread we’d be looking at a 1-4 home defeat to Bristol City at home in the first game of a season.

You lot must be reeking of Femfresh 🤦‍♂️

But at least you are pH balanced 🤯
They do, also why is it an unreasonable position not to want to be forced to pay over the odds for a recently injured player? Guess you just don’t like others having opinions that vary from yours (and yes yours are valid - the points not the pathetic juvenile language)

Think it will be decided in the next few days. Leicester will want money in to build a team. Can’t string it out any longer. Need to move on if it’s not happening.
