Christ, who's idea was it to actually post this on the club's official social media?
That was looking terrible tbfI had come here to post the same video !
tweaking his chatgpt farewell as we speakHas Gus made any statement on his time at United/thanking the fans etc? I've not seen anything which seems odd given he was a fans favorite. I would have hoped for that given he gave a full video at the training ground at Civ when he left.b

Why? It will be AI generated false sincerity anyway. I’d rather he didn’t. At least he acknowledges that football is a mercenary industry. He’s hardly Chris Basham or Billy Sharp.Has Gus made any statement on his time at United/thanking the fans etc? I've not seen anything which seems odd given he was a fans favorite. Disappointing isn't it? Must've treated him like crap for the past 3 years clearlyHas Gus made any statement on his time at United/thanking the fans etc? How many of the players have done that? Cant think of many who did in the next few days after leaving us.I know I've said it once but I'm gonna say it again. I'm really disappointed Gus couldn't just say a message to the fans on his departure given he'd played for us for three years and was a fans favorite. Pretty poor that in my view. Even some of the loan players last season did that.
I can't recall off the top of my head tbh. But it's very common that players do it. Given he'd been a fans favorite I think it would have been nice. When he left Coventry he did a three minute video from the Coventry training ground which I thought was really class when leaving Cov.How many of the players have done that? Wait for a few weeks then. When a player leaves us and posts a goodbye video or message doesnt make much difference to how I feel about him.I can't recall off the top of my head tbh. That's fair enough. Personally I like it that a player takes the time to say thanks etc.Don't really give a shit about a player thanking the club/fans, incredibly woke. The player has gone so we all move on.
Anel did one for example when he left.Wait for a few weeks then. When a player leaves us and posts a goodbye video or message doesnt make much difference to how I feel about him.

My point was that he really went to an effort when he left Coventry. For us nothing, not even a statement of thanks.

There's no need to go over the top! He's just sent this in especially for you.
To Booker4,
From the very first moment I stepped out onto the pitch, hearing your support made every tackle, every pass, and every single second in the shirt mean so much more. Managers and players come and go, but supporters like you stay in your heart forever.
Thank you for backing me through every high, every low, and every single minute in between. I might be moving on to a new chapter, but I will carry your loyalty and passion with me wherever I go.
You’ll always be special to me, my friend. Thank you for everything.
With all my love and respect,
Gustavo Hamer

If that’s the case, then he has a point.Maybe he thinks all Blades fans moan too much about his weight?
