Lets just move on. People are biting at the Coventry fans here. I don't know if I'm more embarrassed at them coming on here or a few of you guys biting to them! The more you bite, the more they will post! They have done well to get where they want to be. If they get relagted they have go a superb cm to help them gain promotion again.

Has Gus made any statement on his time at United/thanking the fans etc? I've not seen anything which seems odd given he was a fans favorite. I would have hoped for that given he gave a full video at the training ground at Civ when he left.b

Why? It will be AI generated false sincerity anyway. I’d rather he didn’t. At least he acknowledges that football is a mercenary industry. He’s hardly Chris Basham or Billy Sharp.

I can't recall off the top of my head tbh. But it's very common that players do it. Given he'd been a fans favorite I think it would have been nice. When he left Coventry he did a three minute video from the Coventry training ground which I thought was really class when leaving Cov.
 
I mean this did come as a bit of a shock to everyone involved and there seemed to be a rush to get it over the line. Maybe we will receive a tik tok video in a few months' time.

Wait for a few weeks then. When a player leaves us and posts a goodbye video or message doesnt make much difference to how I feel about him.

Don't really give a shit about a player thanking the club/fans, incredibly woke. The player has gone so we all move on.

That's fair enough. Personally I like it that a player takes the time to say thanks etc.

My point was that he really went to an effort when he left Coventry. For us nothing, not even a statement of thanks.
