At the moment we are bottom of the spend chart for 26/27.

We will have.
O’Hare was out of contract when we signed him on a free so will be on big wages.
Cooper, Cannon and Burrows were signed for Millions so will be on decent wages.
All last years signings are on big wages (Tanganga, McGuinness, Chong, Matos). We will still be paying a fair chunk of Matos wages while on loan.
Grbic was signed from Athletico Madrid while we were in the premier league.
Shackleton signed on a free so will be on a decent wages while (and why we can’t shift him on).
Bamford and Jairo will be on decent wages for the division.

Just because some of the players aren’t good enough or featuring in the first team, doesn’t mean we aren’t paying them. And a lot of these players who aren’t going to play take up significant wages.

For example if we could get McGuinness, Shackleton, RND and Grbic off the wage bill it would pay for Souttar as well as a very good premier league loan.
Problem is we can’t. That isn’t Wllders fault.

I hate to break it to you, but, it is possible to be bottom of the spending chart on purely transfer fees, but still have a budget and spend of one of the top 10 championship teams.
