Outgoing? Hamer

I feel down on United full stop right now but this is all very depressing and just shows how badly United have squandered our PL opportunities.

We manage to get promoted to the PL for the 3rd time in recent memory, sell our best two players and then unveil Hamer as our marquee signing.

Cov go up for the first time since Dion Dublin was a lad. He’s since had a total career change and has viewed more houses than my missus on a late night right move trawl. They’re somehow able to persuade our marquee signing that it would be better to go and warm their bench behind their new 30m man than hang around with our bunch of no hopers. All while we recoup peanuts and can’t afford to sign anyone.
Divorce .. 6 months you will be in the love bubble again.. did it twice still bitter and still down on the blades

Callum Wilson, James Madison. I'm in my 40s and yet despite spending the last 25 years outside of the top flight, we've still spent more time in there than you over that period. It's 100 years since you won anything 😂
And yet despite that you jumped up little shit, we've spent just about double the time in the highest league, 63 seasons compared to your 34! You are a nothing club that has to manufacture rivalries with every club because nobody gives a shit about you, look at your lot coming on other teams boards. I repeat, non descript city with a sweet of deluded fans that would give them at s6 a run for their money. See you next season.

We probably shit the bed ?
I know you will struggle to comprehend or accept this, and I know that it is difficult to move away from conditioning and deeply ingrained learned behaviour. But shitting the bed isn’t the only way to navigate life’s little challenges. Trust me, you’ll save a fortune on washing powder if you give it a chance.

Assuming the figures quoted are accurate we still need to generate another £15m to enable us to break even on last years O/ head cost which required £35m of parachute money etc. to fund.
Wilder state in his recent press conference that we were relying on loans and free transfers, but surely if an opportunity arises we will act

Is that why nothing is happening ?? People keep asking Wilder Surely but he thinks they are asking Shirley if an opportunity arises will we act

So Wilder hasn’t got a clue who Shirley is or why people keep asking her and when he asks others who the F is Shirley they think he is losing the plot

£5/6m seems about right with him going into his last year. We’ve had three years of value from him and his value is depreciating.

Imperative that it gets reinvested but I won’t hold my breath.
Don't even know if the figure could be reinvested if they wanted to.
Loss of parachute money and the new ffp rules might mean that money just pays existing wages etc.

We can make a loss thats not part of scr
We have to only spend x of revenues on the squad
The new rules to my very limited knowledge allow clubs to make losses in theory
I could be wrong. I usually am. And im working bastard overtime on a Saturday so even more likely to be wrong

Just a reminder Steve coopers forest went up with half a squad of loan players. Bring in 4 quality loans from prem and you never know it might give us the financial boost needed to properly build the squad.
I mean we wont get 4 loans but I tried...
Cooper also boosted the morale of the squad and galvanised a side people had written off

Wonder why I can't see the same happening here...

And the owners might want a return on their investment! They are a investment company after all so the shortfall might be bigger than we think. The only way is to keep selling players, Seriki, Peck et al

If we keep selling players the owners effectively write off their investment of £105m, the only way they make any return is to get us into the premier league

from.ehat i understand they have money and are willing To invest but the wage bill doesnt allow us any wiggle rooms unless we sell players

I think a clever time to properly pump some proper money in would be in January if we look like finishing top 8.

We could easily stick 20m in today and if that doesn't work out by Jan we've blown it. Got to time the funding just right as we as a club are not mega rich.

The only way to make anything like their return back is to be in the premier league and sell on to someone else.

When he goes Phillips will be replacement on loan 100% we have to sell to get players in
I actually see some methods to the madness, if we're keeping Peck🤭, which i think we will, then Rothwell will be pushed forward to an attacking midfielder, he's creative enough, and i think it limits his need to be so defensively minded which in turn limits his game.

Rothwell has never been an attacking midfielder. Why would we play him in attacking midfield when O’Hare will play there.

Out of the squad we have surely it’s One who plays out left. O’Hare centrally and Donovan / Chong on the right.

Sorry but Rothwell is very poor and shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line-up or bench.

We need to strengthen out wide (especially of Hamer goes) and in centre defence. A leader or two.

That said, i might be in a minority in that i think we might go quite well this season. We DO already have quality players, but the vast majority were underperforming last season and it seems lack of fitness was also a season long issue. Its up to CW and his team to get them playing back to playing to their potential and much improved fitness. If he can get that sorted (im not saying that it will definitely happen!) then we could surprise many and be a dangerous championship team again. I dont think we are far off, just need to stop the silly goals given away. Coops being back to full fitness again is a huge boost. But we do nees that commanding centre half and a real pacy get to the bye line left winger.

We do have some decent players, but we are lacking pace, height and flair. We are so pedestrian, and that will prevent us from being a top side in the division.

Shitting the bed is a Bellfour family tradition , some may call it , curse - going back centuries.

It , in the main , usually affected the women in the family . This is believed to be because none of the Bellfour brides were allowed to see the faces of their intended until the wedding night itself . On account that the men were so so ugly and it was feared that upon sight , before vows , the women would run off in fright , thereby potentially severing the Bellfour bloodline .

This resulted in many of the Bellfour Brides ‘shitting the bed’ upon reveal . Legend has it that one bride screamed so loudly and shat so vigorously, that her mother exploded .

So , dear friend , you see I am cursed - not to shitting the bed directly, but to suffer the indignity of being covered in shit 💩 on every date (as I refuse to be hooded after first date)

We are so vile looking that even Maurice Maurice would refuse to post pictures of us

What was Rothwell when he played for Blackburn?

You've hit the nail on the head there. They aren't consistent or are likely injured or out of form.
We have 4 strikers. We currently play a variation of 4-5-1. Even inconsistent or injured - We don't need 5. You start Bamford, then replace him with Cannon/Campbell at 70mins depending on the game. Throw the other or One on in the last 10 if we're chasing a game

Where Simms fits into that, I really don't know - and just makes me think we definitely don't need him.

So the sisters and brothers never saw each other as children?

What was Rothwell when he played for Blackburn?

A central midfielder or a defensive midfielder.

It would be the equivalent of using Oli Norwood as an attacking midfielder.

Their main strengths are looking up and playing the ball forward. Rothwell also has previously had a reputation for liking a long range shot.

He’s not going to break the lines, run beyond the forwards. He has no pace. He’s also not going to play with his back to goal and hold the play up.

In 21/22 he apparently played 5% of his minutes for Blackburn as an attacking midfielder

Presumably when they were chasing a game and desperate.
