Although we have been lacking an enforcer in our defence for a while, some of these tackles are a bit wild. He does seem like the type to chuck himself about, physically he looks like he could do a job in the championship which is what is needed be interesting to see if we are after him on loan or with a permanent signing as we need to try and settle down a CB partnership
To be fair he picks out some good passes in the reel, it’s more of the diving tackle, if you are a fraction off he would be off on some of them. One of the players that is close to the wire but also looks to get the ball forward which if a ball into Gus like he has been able to pick out passes on the left could literally be 2 passes and it’s on Bamfords right pegIts a highlight reel mate.
Stepping in and intercepting the ball isn't very exciting to clip. Im sure he's capable of both.
Yes we do play the longer balls.......but only to nobodyHe has a bit of a ping on him, wee have missed that.
Occasionally (not enough) Cannon and Campbell make some good runs but our mindset is so intent on slow, methodical play, we don't play the longer balls.
Riedewald and forward pass in the same sentence. Now there's a novelty! They may not the best 100m sprint winners!! But from what I've seen, they both always look for a forward pass , as much as I love ollie and peck they've both look as though they've had it knocked out of them, at one time both would take the ball and immediately turn and look to play the forward pass .
My old coach always said "sideways/back passes get us nowhere near the opposition goal "
Stop critiquing him, they'll hear you!Wildsrs wet dream though that and this is how we will line up vs burnley, west ham, wolves, boro.
If we manage to get the signing done.
Fair.Yes we do play the longer balls.......but only to nobody
Does anybody on this forum believe we're going to sign an Argentian from Italy? Nothing about it rings true, except that the hunt for JOCs replacement still continues in the gossip columns.
I think we all know it ain't happening mate, it just passes time talking about itDoes anybody on this forum believe we're going to sign an Argentian from Italy? Nothing about it rings true, except that the hunt for JOCs replacement still continues in the gossip columns.
I do, however my sources say it's a she and she'll be working in the Club Shop. Don't hate the messenger!!!Does anybody on this forum believe we're going to sign an Argentian from Italy? Nothing about it rings true, except that the hunt for JOCs replacement still continues in the gossip columns.

I think the link that ran through for a lot of our players at that time was that they were all on an upward trajectory with the club. Virtually to a man this was the biggest club that they had been a major part of (playing consistently) and they were all improving together. Their individual and team confidence were growing as they progressed.Fair.
There is definitely no chemistry between our defenders and strikers like there used to be.
Hoping when we do get the new defenders this link returns. Strikers have to hugely 'up' their game too though.
Not one for being negative but when we used to watch Coutts, Fleck, Duffy (then Norwood) and the way all the cogs worked with George, Bash, Stevens - then throw in Billy and Leon into that, it was a joy to watch.
Now it is so dis-jointed. I still am trying to work out whether that is confidence, lack of technical ability, poorer coaching or the players just not as savvy.
Probably a mix of all of that without being one specific thing.
Or if there’s a glass at all
The council awarded the street maintenance contract to Amey.I mean, looks alright but wheres street trees?!
Does anyone else think Leicester are fucking us about with Souttar so we’re faking interest in this lad to make them think we’ll walk away and sign someone else if they carry on?

That is true, he was in Serie B last season but difficult to work out how they compare, agreed he probably wouldn’t get the time but also apparently it’s an athletic and competitive league so he might suit the championship well, not sure on our formation and if he is likely to played as a 1st teamer or backup off the benchWhoever the opposition were on those clips, they didn't fancy getting tight. Not sure he'll be afforded the time on the ball to ping it around in the Championship. Tackles remind me of Anel, if a bit less 'go-go-gadget leg'.
After we signed Bulgarians and blokes from Peru nothing is off limits...Does anybody on this forum believe we're going to sign an Argentian from Italy? Nothing about it rings true, except that the hunt for JOCs replacement still continues in the gossip columns.
