Agree, apart from the Oné bit...
With Oné, the time to sell him should be next summer

But not if he doesn't play for us this season

In which case, we're reliant on a loan club raising his value

If we could get good money for him now, it would avoid taking that risk

A fee in the same ball park as Peck's would be tempting, but I'd weight it more towards the sell on clause in this instance

One should have started yesterday
Agreed, its baffling how little time hes got in pre season. I know CW sees thrm all in training etc etc but this kid cd be another Osula fee wise but he's not getting a kick. He started in pre season last year, went on loan to a side that won Div One and this is the season for him to kick on yet hes not getting a chance despite us having very few forwards. Why?

If we want to have a pop at promotion but still need to raise money, then sell Peck (or Oné), and keep Hamer

Prioritise cash up front over a sell on clause - I don't think he'll ever go for more than whatever we can get now

Replace him with someone who can run and play 40 games
Sell Oné ?
Have you seen Cannon & Campbell play recently , the useless feckers ?

Should at least be trying him with Bamford in a two up front, starting with a single striker especially at home is crazy
Depends what we are going to play.

Maybe we are playing 4-2-3-1 because we have to indulge a system which incorporates Gus and O’Hare.

If Hamer goes then perhaps we will play 4-4-2 far more frequently?

Then all of a sudden you have 4 competing for 2 roles rather than at times 4 for 1.

Still plenty of cards to fall into place.

Doesn't matter does it, if Wilder isn't going to play him, which appears to be the case

I could have predicted Baptiste getting loads of minutes pre season, but the other one I thought would obviously get loads of minutes was Oné, yet it hasn't happened, and it's bizarre

Yeah there were lots of comments at the back end of the season about One being a key player. Seen no signs of that at all.

I must be the only one who wants to keep Peck, the thought of Jairo,Rothwell and even Phillips if we sign him fills me with dread.Hopefully Arblaster can get back to his best.
I don't mind Peck, he's physically fit, he's willing and he's an engine - he's also our only midfielder that can play more than an hour!

One thing i would say though and it's only my opinion, I think he's riding a wave at the minute and slightly over hyped. Any decent offer should see us cash in.

Like peck and he is a good player

But i dont think there is much between him and a riedewald / arblaster / rothwell if they were all at there best

I dont think he is a good premier league player , 15 million for him is a great deal

If we reinvested it , will we ? I would be all over that deal IMO and go and get a lewis obrien / doyle type of player for half the price

Tell me that last time we signed a player who can run and play 40 games a season its not in our genetics

Sell peck for 12.5
Buy reyes cleary for 4
Souttar 9
Makes for a better overall side especially if Phillips comes on loan
Plus lets be honest mcguinness will eventually be sold to cover the difference

If you did that you would be significantly increasing a wage bill that needs to go in the opposite direction. There’s more than just the transfer fees to consider.

He can be replaced provided the club pay the price to bring in the type of quality that’s needed

I’m not sure that will happen?
Don't think we can afford quality mate. Seems like we will be signing workman like players😟

Then you get rid of the likes of chong mcguinness grbic on the cheap to free the wages up. Ta dah
