Have you ever wanted to watch the Blades train and see what goes on behind closed doors?
Well on the morning of Monday 27th July, Bramall Lane will host an open training session to allow supporters free entry to watch Chris Wilder, and his coaching staff put the players through their paces.
Before the players emerge from the tunnel for a prompt 10.30am start, there will be some activities taking place in front of the stand, for the whole family to enjoy.

Food kiosks will be open to give fans the opportunity to purchase hot and cold snacks and refreshments, whilst there will also be some merchandise giveaways.


Following the open training, and before leaving the pitch, the players will make themselves available to sign some autographs and have photos with supporters at the front of the John St stand, before the squad return to Shirecliffe for the afternoon session of that day.


All fans are welcome and will be seated in the John Street family stand, with turnstiles opening at 9.30am.

Training and meet and greet with kids. Used to do this every year. Easy way to get kids down to the club shop and mummy and daddy buy them a shirt.

I've been many times. Took penalties against Paul Tomlinson as a kid. Took my own lad when he was young and had him sat on a table with Del Geary and Gary Speed signing his shirt.

Watching the current mob train still sounds boring to me, however.

So did I. Tomlinson playfully let one in (I was about 6). Keith Waugh saved the lot the shit.

I’m taking the grandson to this next week. Should be an interesting watch & get a few photos & autographs for him.
It also passes a day in the school holidays & I think it’s a great idea.
