Or there are numerous clubs after him because he is a very good player. It's now moved on to West Ham after Burrow and Peck.
Either we are touting him around to cause a bidding war or there is some really poor journalism..

One can but hope. What else!.I’m a little itk here & the whisperings are he doesn’t want to move back to London. Doesn’t mean he won’t of course.
Entering the last two years of his contract. Has the club finally learned or is it another Berge/Ndiaye/Hamer situation?
I’d be surprised if west ham make a move before they’ve sold more players. Selling Fernandes doesn’t get them out of the red yet.
That News doesn't put us in a weak negotiating positionThe problem is United have put themselves in a really weak negotiating position. News of the owners not paying the agreed price to the previous owner, gives the impression they don’t have a pot to piss in and are likely to sell players at a discounted price. So if we do sell Peck, it won’t be for the money we should be asking for.

It might give the impression that they don’t have a pot to piss in, but that isn’t necessarily the reality. It’s quite possible that negotiations are taking place around the price and what’s owed, and both sides are seeking to strengthen their position through various actions they are taking, some in the public domain and others not.The problem is United have put themselves in a really weak negotiating position. ........ but if we sign this Pepple lad from further down the Rumour Mill and Corban Piper from Wellington Phoenix.......We'll be pickled without Peck.
That would mean we would sign a player permanently... We'll replace with a loanee..Good player and very likeable guy, but a much easier type of player to replace at a lower fee than the likes of Hamer.
