Yes, damn that Wilder and his unreasonable desire to win football matches.

If only we'd had Selles' "we set up tactically to lose every game" approach since 2016 (on and off) instead, we'd be in the Bananarama A Bit North Of Chesterfield But At Least We're South Of Rotherham (Non) League Division 43, by now.

If wilder was setting up to win games last season he failed at it miserably, given he lost more than he won.
 
It's just so pathetic with the local press

All they have to say is "we're only asking because the fans are asking" and "we wouldn't be doing our jobs otherwise"

What can Wilder object to there exactly?

If managers don't want to answer questions they should just be coaches instead
 
I think we just have to be patient this summer.

There are a few factors aren’t there?

The World Cup is taking precedence and as such the moves at the very top of the tree will be delayed.

We are somewhere in the middle so we probably need others to get their houses in order if we are going to benefit from value add signings.

Ironically it was one of our potential rivals, Burnley, selling Anthony to Brentford which probably frees up Donovan, who on first viewing looks to be what the Doctor ordered.

We won’t be looking for that many and as such we can probably afford to wait a little. We can still put together a serviceable Championship starting XI right now.

Plus there is then the lack of parachute payments. There’s a chance we have to see how the outgoings go first before we overcommit to incomings.

It’s going to be one of those type summers and a few of those factors aren’t beyond the club’s immediate control.

If we got a first choice centre half, the XI would be ready to go. It’s just a lack of depth we need to resolve, in certain areas.

I’d say as a starting point we are better placed than a number of teams right now.

when did any blades manager get a fully funded 1st team war chest, its slip my mind when it last hasppened
when warnock got us back in the prem 4 m was our key note signing. a true statement of intent or what

at least Jack Beanstalk had a hand full of beans

I've tried to engage with you on a reasonable level and you've decided to get personal. I asked who your choice for manager was but you didn't reply. You've made poorly judged statements about our manager from your keyboard. You wouldn't say it to his face would you? That's cowardly in my book. Keep up the negativity and pessimism, it's the Blades way.

It wasn’t a miracle we stayed up, Selles was here for five games. Wilder had 41 games to get a tune out of a decent squad of players, and a January transfer window to supplement (less said about our January business the better). We had one of the most expensive squads in the league with POTY Hamer, one of the leagues best goalkeepers, Tanganga. o’hare. Cannon, a crop of excellent young players, premier league experience in Reidewald, Bamford and Phillips (lol).

Relegation was never a realistic prospect.

That's what Leicester fans said last season and they won three of their first five games.

They also had the 'benefit' of a DOF who had overseen them winning the PL title.
