I'm going to be contrarian here and say there were enough glimpses in there to show in the right setting, with the right coaching he could kick on. First game of the season against Bristol he showed potential to be a handful.

However, like most young kids dropped into the Championship for the first time, their success is so dependent on the environment, and there's little doubt we were a basket case last season.

At the risk of being accused of being a pig sympathiser Im going to say GLTTL....

From Barcelona to Wednesday in 6 years.

This will add more fuel to the fire that this is the real company that they keep.

He has been a big hit in League One, and I'm sure Stockport would have taken him if they could have. Are they trying to out-do us in offering contracts to the injury-prone?

But that's a very good signing. For a League One club.

23/24 - Hamstring Injury: 25 games out
24/25 - Knee Injury: 13 games out
25/26 - Knee Injury: 23 games out

Personally I thought he was pathetic for us. Offered nothing and incredibly lightweight. Granted everyone was shite at the start of the season - but the majority of them showed some improvement when Wilder came back, he did not and then was injured.
I'll admit, in League 1 - a decent player when he's on it - but the above would suggest whatever happens you're going to lose him for big periods. I hope their left back is prepared to do the job of two men

When he first come to us a pal of mine who works at shirecliffe said he was a complete bell end, arrogant and ignorant. I thought he was shite but prob a decent signing for them in that league.

No doubt they are absolutely lapping this up and they’ll all be telling us they just signed the second coming of Eden Hazard, just like Max Lowe suddenly became the best left back we ever had once he signed for them.

Realistically he’s a decent signing for them at that level, but that is his level. He’s pacey with a decent shot on him but he’s so unbelievably one footed and one dimensional. Runs fast in a straight line, tries to cut in on his right foot and shoot. Any championship defender has him worked out within 5 minutes.

Villa are smart with letting players go on reasonable fees with hefty sell on clauses and first refusals on buy backs. Should he kick it up a notch and championship clubs come knocking at 5/10m no doubt Villa have the option to take him back for a couple of million and sell him on themselves.
He’s more Trip Hazard than Eden…

He will go down well at swillsbrough , he’s crap and so are they , old man Bannans back an all lol , nobody else wanted him 😂

He was bobbar. One trick. Barged off the ball. Hid. Didn’t track back.
