He was absolute bobbins though.
Yeah agreed but look how he’s performing for Stockport. Correct me if I’m wrong but he either won or was a contender for league one player of the season last year.

His first start for Stockport after going back to the club and a hat-trick. Looks the exact same player as he did last season immediately.

L1 is his level.

I didn'nt see much of him like ,but if he didn't get the injury would he have been gave a proper go .

Just scored a hat-trick for Stockport to send them into the play offs.

It just goes to show that some players are suited at certain clubs and if they are managed correctly you’ll get the best out of them. Something we are lacking.

More likely that he's suited to the league, more than the club.

Found his level in league 1 . Was miles off championship level

He didn’t get that much of a chance with us in all fairness. Difficult to draw conclusions either way.

No doubt they are absolutely lapping this up and they’ll all be telling us they just signed the second coming of Eden Hazard, just like Max Lowe suddenly became the best left back we ever had once he signed for them.

Realistically he’s a decent signing for them at that level, but that is his level. He’s pacey with a decent shot on him but he’s so unbelievably one footed and one dimensional. Runs fast in a straight line, tries to cut in on his right foot and shoot. Any championship defender has him worked out within 5 minutes.

Villa are smart with letting players go on reasonable fees with hefty sell on clauses and first refusals on buy backs. Should he kick it up a notch and championship clubs come knocking at 5/10m no doubt Villa have the option to take him back for a couple of million and sell him on themselves.

Me, because that lot shouldn't be spending big on anyone after the shit they've pulled.
Agreed, local businesses get 25p in the £ and now they are spunking money on transfer fees. I'm sure they have followed all the correct legal procedures but it doesnt sit right and I'm sure there will be a lot of furious people who were owed monies thst were never paid.

Barry's a one-trick pony. Show him onto his left foot and he's got nothing. My 6 year old has a better left foot and even then it's more or less for standing on.

Arjen Robben made a living out of doing the same sort of thing, difference being he was good at it and even if defenders knew what he was going to do, they were powerless to stop it.

Louie Barry is a lower level of a lot of players we've had who are caught in the fog between the Premier League and the Championship, only he's a flat track bully in League One instead.
