That video was desperately trying not to show the back and the write up mentions the sleeves, shorts and socks colours but just happens to not mention that part.

Not sure why Adidas think we play in red socks, the sleeve stripes being the thick ones and white does at least make them slightly stripey, but basically it's the same unimaginative middle of the road stuff Adidas always trot out.

I don't like the solid sleeves. I dont like the pinstripes because it seems we've had that a lot in recent seasons, I hate the red back. I'd prefer white socks.

If this kit was made by Macron I think our fans would say it's crap, which it is regardless. Right, that's my last post on the kit because I knew it would disappoint me and it has but I knew that as soon as they confirmed we'd returned to Adidas because they're incapable of a traditional striped shirt. Id much prefer to stay with Errea

I bought one Errea kit but didn’t like the designs after. Plus the quality of the shirts didn’t feel as good. Adidas are just far superior kits (quality and fit wise) to any other brand

I’ll be getting this one and can’t wait for the adidas leisure range again.

I can't fathom why anyone thinks a solid sleeve looks better than stripes myself. If I wanted a solid red sleeve I'd buy a Liverpool or Man U shirt.

I can't fathom why anyone thinks a solid sleeve looks better than stripes myself. If I wanted a solid red sleeve I'd buy a Liverpool or Man U shirt.

I’m 48, so similar experience and different view point.

I just think the solid sleeves give a cleaner look. Striped sleeves are just so much harder to get right and look decent

I do understand there's variations but just what were people bloody expecting. It's difficult to get imaginative with a red and white stripe shirt unless you do something very radical and you can stake your wealth on thousands of grown men stomping their feet if that was the case

Its a nice shirt, I like it. I've never been a fan of the black pin stripes I prefer without but it doesn't ruin it for me. I'd wear it

Stripey sleeves work with stripey back. If the back is solid, the sleeves being solid work better.

I'll probably still buy one, but it's just not very exciting. Errea got grilled for their build quality (and for good reason), but at least the designs were unique and interesting. I could probably find half a dozen other clubs using this same design with a different colour scheme somewhere in England.

Everyone calling this kit crap - what exactly were you expecting for a team that plays in red and white stripes, occasionally with black pinstripes around the red?? Tony Currie’s face in Turin Shroud form on the front? The material to be 1970s stout hessian knit? The shorts to have red and white lining? Some people really do love to moan.

Hopefully never. White socks look horrendous with our kits and I'm almost certain, not 100% but near enough, that we never have a good season when we're in white socks.

Love the meltdowns from supposed grown adults whenever we release the new kits.

Bearing in mind we have plenty of source material from when we had Adidas before ie solid if unspectacular designs I'm genuinely not sure why you expected anything else this time and have let yourselves get disappointed .

1974-5 finished 6th in the top division. Not got close to that since.
