Me neither. When I see the World Cup shirts with the thick stripes, they always remind me of the fake adidas 'Roy Walker' shirts you used to get when you went on holiday to Turkey or Tunisia in the 90's.

The thicker stripes remind me of the 1970s/80s adidas Originals tshirts, where the three stripes were on a fabric panel stitched to the shirt.... which for me is fantastic

They look miles better IMO

I’m still on the fence with the thick stripes. But one thing I like is us getting a version of adidas trying something different. Like when they put the stripes down the side of the body for a couple of season and we got one for our PL away kit. Only lasted a couple of years and I’m sure the thick stripes will too.
