He's never going to get to Berge's standards, like the quote above said, his physical side of play will eat him in the Prem.

He's the type of player that needs it, not like a prancy quick footed playmaker where he wouldn't need to rely on that, I honestly don't know what type of footballer he is.

He doesn't get stuck in like people think he actually does. Doesn't really carry the ball and definitely needs someone better than him next to him.

He has improved a lot since he started in the first team but that's not hard cause imo he was shite, Vini helped him a lot. I've said it before but I'd snatch hands off for 10-15mil.

I reckon his ceiling is top end Champ player, not a mid table prem player.

Appreciate what people say about Peck but he is playing for England under 21s and is sometimes preferred to alternative premiership squad players and never looks out of place when he plays.
Whilst he is in the opinion of some not doing enough to justify a higher grade of football, his potential which is what people are buying is enormous, it must be otherwise none of the players who he is preferred to will also never make the grade

He only has 2 years left on his deal and I’m guessing it’s unlikely he will extend, unfortunately the business side of football dictates it’s time to move him on.

It’s not … it’s actually just a saying tbh … what it means is build the midfield around him.. you then build an attacking style that brings the best from your main striker… build a defence on your main anchor and then apply tactics that involve your best players most.

When we brought Norwood in there’s no question the tactics and midfield set up was around him … Pecks no Norwood but he has strengths that I think we can do more to amplify

Not only is he a regular for United at his age, he's also a regular in the England u21s. Not sure we've ever had a player be a regular in the u21s before.

He'll be a PL regular. Like Alex Scott at Bournemouth, Will Osula, Djed Spence and Archie Gray etc. they don't sign to play immediately, but grow in their top tier academies.

Absolutely no chance the fee would be remotely close to Hackney. Hackneys the best midfielder in the league, Peck is a long way off that. He’s a good young player with a very good ceiling, but he’s nowhere near the top 5 midfielders in the league. Also not saying he won’t get there though.

With some proper coaching and patience he could be bottom premier league/top of the championship easily, but as others have said, it’s hard to say what he actually is, he’s not a monster in the middle of the park, he’s also not a free scoring midfielder that provides assists and goals. He's a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. With a modern approach to coaching, I think he’ll find his niche and do well.

He's not going to be a PL regular in the role United used him in ladt season. Bit if he's freed upto play in the way Fleck did, do defensive work but also carry the ball, get forward, pass aggressively then I think he definitely can. Will Hughes has done it and I think Peck can be that.

Also, his ambition and attitude shouldn't be underestimated. He has unshakable self belief and he truly gives a shit. That's a huge part of the battle.

That is 100% down to the tactical setup. We are very, very risk averse and players' roles are strictly defined. Our midfield pivot is not expected to get beyond the front 4.

He does the work others simpy cant. He breaks up play and gets the ball moving.
If you watch that reel, look at how many opposition players are around him and he still comes away with ball. He can turn in tight spaces and has quick feet.
Still a bit lightweight and needs to broaden his passing range both of these will come with age and experience.
