Here’s the first part of the podcast. If your question didn’t get answered, we’re doing another mailbag pod next week to get to the rest.
Still time to get more questions in.

The issue with Michael Palin is there has been times (with evidence) he clearly seems to be a Sheff Utd fan
but in the past there’s been times he seems to be a Sheff Wed fan too…..so it’s sometimes brought up.
Therefore when Michael Palin was interviewed a few years ago on Radio Sheffield
he was asked to clarify once and for all if he’s a Sheff Utd fan or Wednesday fan.
He explained that he was brought up as a child in the Ranmoor area (the south of the city so Bramall Lane is much closer than Hillsboro).
And his uncle used to regularly take him to Bramall Lane when he was aged 10 and he enjoyed it. His hero was Jimmy Hagan. So as a boy he confirmed he was a Sheffield United fan….and he also used to really enjoy going to Hallam FC matches (non league) which he said was very close to where he lived.
Then he explained that for the past few decades he’s lived in London and still has a lot of pride and loyalty towards his home city, Sheffield.
He said it might sound strange or boring as though he’s sitting on the fence but he genuinely wants both Sheffield teams to do well.
He explained that when Sheff United are playing in London he supports United
But then when Sheff Wednesday are playing in London he supports Wednesday.
Said he wants to see both Sheffield teams in the Premier league.
So he’s quite similar to local legend Derek Dooley….in that he supports both Sheffield teams.
However if asked to choose he’s clearly more of a Sheff Utd fan and been to far more Utd matches.
Altho it also came across that he had a big passion towards local team Hallam FC too.
