Knill gone?

You have to go and coach somewhere to get your badges anyway. It's not just classroom learning. He'll have got his experience somewhere - even if not in a full time role.

I'm not against bringing him in if he's good enough to do the job, but no-one on here knows that at all.

On Knilly , I've always been a bit perplexed regarding his stance, not on players but how he stands for the duration of the match with his knees a foot in front of his head , very strange .

Someone that knows him quite well told me that he was knocked off his bike by a car which made a right mess of his legs.

Some can’t, won’t, see it as the gamble it would be. However how does any A licence holder hope to progress?

Probably a bit annoyed that Keith Andrews was let slip to be a success elsewhere.

Coaches that work at clubs with good analytics generally fail horribly when they move elsewhere. Edwards might be doing fine where he is but move to a club where the concept of scouting is a copy of the Yorkshire phone book and he would be a dumpster fire

I used to work with someone who Warnock went to school with.

He actually said that Warnock, like a lot of his age went to both United and Wednesday, he only nailed his colours once he had to - but he didn't really have the affiliation that was thought of.

How true this is, I do not know - the guy I am quoting is mid 70's, so actually he may be telling the truth, but yeah, who knows.

About Heckingbottom, I was always under the impression he was actually a pig first and foremost.
Hasn't Hecky got a Leeds tattoo on his leg?

Bert has just checked his list of club legends.
He's got Knilly down at number 287.
Crab thinks the bar is awfully lower these days in terms of what qualifies as a legend these days.

I got called one at work the other day and all I did was answer a basic query 🤷

Whatever the facts, it's a shame that a thoroughly decent bloke with no ego or desire for fame/gratitude, who made a huge contribution to some fantastic years, has had his leaving come out in this way.

Even local journos can't agree on the circumstances which doesn't help either.

Why do they need badges anyway? Did Alf Ramsey, Brian Clough, Bob Paisley need them? Typical English Football Establishment Crap. Let’s have all English Coaches teaching the same. No room for thoughts or ideas of your own, no wonder England’s won fuck all since 1966.
Badges? Badges? We don't need no stinking badges...
