I know it's National League level (& the League 1 goals from Barry didn't translate) but AA looked electric at Wembley yesterday vs Dale.

Pacy, direct left sided attacker. Released by Millwall 12 months ago. 15 goals this season & was best player on the pitch by a distance.

Worth a punt?

UTB

I was thinking this when watching. He looks a class above.

It is a big jump up to championship but surely he is a better option than the AI nonsense we’ve signed.

Remember the last player we got from Boreham Wood? #29

It's not a mad shout. Boreham Wood struggle because they're wedged in between some of the best academies in the country, any player that gets through the net and plays first team football for BW is probably worth a punt as a cheap option.

He absolutely teared up the national league this season, definitely worth a punt imo, looks like a great player and also would be a cheap option, see what happens, he will probably end up at Peterborough or something.

Definitely not against good value "punts" like this. He's pretty young. Not sure if he's good enough, but you often don't make a loss if these don't work out, because you can sell to League 1.

We do already have Buyabu, who also had a good season in the same league. Think they play on opposite flanks mind you.

Buyabu has been playing as a left wing back/winger for FGR. 36 Appearances 7 goals and 5 assists a decent return. Worth bringing into the squad.

I'd like to see him in and around the squad for 6 months. Saw him once this season in the flesh and he was the best player on the park. He was playing right-wing or very attacking right midfield.

You look at sides like York and Rochdale who were so far ahead of their rivals that there must be some who are playing at a level way beneath their capabilities and are capable of hitting a much higher ceiling given the chance.

We can't go and go signing lower league players willy nilly (not like last summer) but doing some proper diligence and see who could be worth a look since we don't seem to do a great job in the foreign market.

The likes of Bowen, Ndiaye and Vardy coming from that level to being top Premier League players aren't exactly ten a penny but it can be done and its profitable if it's done early enough.
