Nowt, great day out. I think tickets were £15 each and that included all you can eat chinese at the restaurant attached to the ground with 4 free pints, a free programme and a team sheet. Think there was 9 pubs in Cowdenbeath and we had a drink in them all some we visited twice. No doubt someone will correct me but I think it was Harry Maguires debut and he was probably MOM.

I know it’s an “every little helps” type comment but if we are without parachute payments then jaunting off with around 50 folks to the continent must be a far greater cost than staying within a luxury coach journey.

Look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves!
I keep trying to instil that particular maxim in my wife's approach to spending... Without any noticeable effect 🙁

Scunthorpe United
Deportivo Wanka in Peru
Young Boys in Switzerland (Taking some MPs)
SB Robinhood in Suriname

Then back on this board to complain the new kit stripes are the wrong thickness, or why has "that cunt" Wilder not been sacked yet!

Playing Valencia at the Mestalla won’t happen. I refuse to believe United can organise such a good friendly at such a great stadium.
My best guess would be - United are planning a training camp somewhere, maybe near Valencia, there will be other clubs on their own training camps somewhere, maybe near Valencia. United might play another club maybe near Valencia.

Will you be anticipating adding more oranges to your diet then, during say the month of July or early August?

Obviously we’ll not know until the boys are at the airport where we’re going but let’s have a guess.

I wrote this and the options out tongue in cheek but having a quick look back… anything is possible !!
In no particular order...

Barnsley
Chesterfield
Doncaster
Sheffield FC

That's my impression too. They will also be aware that fans are hoping for a public game.

definitely going to play Halifax Town at the Shay according to Halifax gleans up here. Wilder still highly thought of by their fans from his time as their Manager through difficult Financial Times apparently.

I've voted for Peak district
FFS we always play York Rotherham Chesterfield Mansfield (may be TOO difficult) Burton etc
With the imbecile in charge, players needing to be sold and His persistent undervaluing of all players he has not signed (aka the good ones Seriki, Peck, Hamer, Brooks) or those he has lost favouritism for (Campbell etc)
I'm taking a leaf out of our Basset history of army camps merged with ex army Tony Toms and Len Ashhurst to cut costs and saying we'll be
Camping out on the Moors.
The star could then restore its front page Whitworth cartoon with two sheep saying
'I've been roughing it on these Moors for years
and I'm still no good at football'
And Wilder could of course blame this in his list of constant excuses for his persistent failure.
The Shaggy of football managers - with the facial stubble of the cartoon character that he is to us sensible people
