"15-20 Players Leaving This Summer"

Danny Hall is a Wilder cuck.

I'm happy to see what Wilder can do in the summer but I can't pretend that he doesnt irritate me far more than he used to.

A few years ago I found myself agreeing with much of what he said and he tended to show more respect to people in general, even if he could still see red at times. Mike Dean even named him as the most respectful manager in the Prem.

He seems a bit different in recent times. I don't agree with his summing up of games as much, he acts at times as though he's a tad paranoid, and i find the slapping of the badge when we win and straight down the tunnel when we lose a bit pathetic tbh. At least he clapped the fans at Bristol.

Whilst he's our manager I want him to do well but the same reverence just isn't there for me as it once was.
I want Wilder to stay etc but I won't often listen to his press conferences

His insecure, hostile demeanour in them is irritating and unreasonable, and if it turns people against him he can have no complaints. He acts like a spoilt child

£500 k per annum is probably correct for Matos.
The other 3 are reputably on £25k per week, a staggering £1.3 million p.a. It's going to cost us in the region of £3 million a year to subsidise their wages.
What were the people on who were in charge last summer?
Absolutely staggering what that kind of outlay should be able to get you compared to what we got. I assume Luton were desperate to get them out of the door due to their wages there and maybe the longer contracts we offered were a way for them to retain what they had already but that shouldn’t even be a consideration when negotiating with a team and players rotting in league one when we were (supposedly) looking to be a front runner in the championship. It’s not for us to be subsidising another club’s faux pax.

Really noticeable for me that Wilder has started in the last couple of weeks to refer to "the AI boys" (he did so again the press conference today).
I assume this is referring to Nwachukwu and Ukaki, possibly Zatterstrom and Poledakov too? Any others?
Referring to them in this way makes it clear that Wilder doesn't fancy them, and also that he wants to distance himself and his team from their recruitment. I get why he would want to do that.
At the same time, it does seem insulting to dismiss those players, most of whom we've had no opportunity to really get a look at, as simply "AI boys". I'm surprised to hear a manager do that. And if the aim is to get someone to take them off our hands, talking about them so dismissively maybe doesn't seem like the best strategy?
Punters,AI boys🙄
Wonder if he refers to it as Bountiful Downtown Bramall Lane.
I'd argue he's had more pleasure out of us than the opposite.

I fail to understand how people on here don't seem to appreciate that Wilder/Knill are the ideal men for the rebuild. They have consistently found gems and discovered new talent, they have achieved this at numerous clubs and achieved numerous promotions.

Just because we didn't get promoted last season there was no reason to throw the baby out with the bath water. The owners did, at the same time as selling Anel, Souza and Kiefer and then started recruiting based on iffy AI criteria.

The job of staying up is done, let them get on with the rebuild that is so obviously required.
Those gems were almost a decade ago. His recruitment since 2019 has seen failure after failure, crock after crock, and most of the expensive players leaving on frees / below market value.

He hasn’t signed a good, consistent player since John Egan.

If we had to sign them, it should have been on low wages and shorter contracts.
As we'll find when other clubs come looking at them

It’s Summer 2016 all over again….post Adkins - massive rebuild again. It’s going to be an interesting 4 months!
But its not is it? Many of these players are Wilder signings. Im not for getting rid of him but his constant distancing of himself from our current plight is tiresome and disingenuous. Hes been here 8 months and our fitness levels are atrocious and we keep on giving up leads over and over again.

To cap it all he praises our fitness team, that really is taking the piss and i do wonder if he says some of this stuff deliberately to wind people up as I cant find another explanation, othe rthan him being delusional.

We are in a position in the food chain where we have to make a profit from player trading. Wilder is pretty much completely hopeless at identifying players who can deliver that. In his spells at the club he's signed 35 first team players who have since left. We have made a profit on 5 of them*. We've only sold 8^, the other 27 have been released. We are absolutely appalling under his watch at identifying younger players with the attributes to go on and play at a higher level and that really has to change.

*Ryan Leonard: bought for £1.1m, sold for £1.5m.
Lee Evans: bought for £750k, sold for £1.1m
Callum Robinson: bought for £5m, sold in a swap deal valued at £7m
Aaron Ramsdale: bought for £16.75m (inc sell on value), sold for £27.5m
Jayden Bogle: bought for £2m, sold for £7m

^the others are
Richard Stearman: bought for £700k, sold for £200k
Sander Berge: bought for £22m, sold for £12m
Kieffer Moore: bought for £2m, sold for £2m

Kinell Tarqs, I'm going to claim an association with him too then.
I once had a car MOT'd in the village next to the one his Great-Grandma's friend thought about moving to once!
Is that the Great-Grandma's friend who's daughter's first boyfriend was taught by the teacher who played bass in a skiffle band with the lad who knocked about with the daughter of the bloke who used to drive the 52 bus to Broomhill past the offices where the woman used to work who had one of the kittens from that old couple's cat which used to sit on the window sill of the woman who used to knit sweaters and buy her wool from the shop across from that butchers where my mum's best friend's auntie used to buy her sausages from?

Or the other one?

The AI boys one does seem out of line and a bit disrespectful to say the least, and I'm supportive of Wilder.
Really?
1. They’re shite
2. Bord duped COH
3. Bord fleeced the club
4. Bord used AI without a decent comparator.
They are AI boys, they’re not properly scouted players with a future in the English league.

When the manager starts irritating his own fans it generally doesn’t end well.

The AI players couldn’t have done any worse than some of the unfit shite we’ve had on the pitch this season.

The first department we need to sort out is the fitness department, then we need to sort out how we go about the recruitment, by that I mean try and bring some players in that are youngish, hungry and mobile with the required quality that can be sold on for a profit if needs be to keep the club moving forwards, some of these players can come within the club, especially if we have limited funds.

As it stands I have no clue what direction this club is going at the moment, it could easily go through the motions looking at it right now but all that can change and I hope it does, there’s a lot of hard work ahead.

Dancing on tables / pork sausages is one thing , but unprofessional comments which harm the club's chances of recouping £ on unfavoured investments is another.

You mean like Ukaki at Birmingham, in the league cup, who was a headless chicken and so obviously way out of his depth? He kept getting muscled out of challenges before he got anywhere near the control of a football.

Zatterstrom is so good that he gets to sit and watch Italian football at pitch side.

By all means have an irritation and try to scratch it but it loses credibility when the pop evidences the lack of use of well under par players that the naive owners were duped into signing from their AI buddy Bord.

Other clubs will take a look at these guys and believe they are worth summat?
Seriously?

The damage was done when Bord persuaded those in charge that he knew owt, when it’s been proven that he’s a chancer and a knownowt.

Naahh, different mate.
It sounded just like her though until you mentioned the sausages. because she was Jewish. So unless she was buying them for someone else, I doubt we're talking about the same one.

Wilder will keep him to prove to us all how good he is
I'm more convinced than ever if we get a decent fee for serki he, s gone, wilder called him out AGAIN in his after match presser, yes he was crap but was he our worst player?
Yes he was our worse player....along with Peck

I'll agree with you on Nwachukwu, Ukaki and probably Zätterström as they're all L2/L1 level, with the latter being particularly frustrating as we spent a decent amount on him. However, Polendakov remains a decent prospect who will probably do well somewhere in Europe at a similar level to the Championship.
