We've made him worse. So we once again need to start looking inwards as to why this keeps happening.
If Milwall go up maybe they’ll pay us to take him back.
Abso bloody lutely!! That is so true for nearly every signing we have made over the last few years (when we have paid a transfer fee)We've made him worse. So we once again need to start looking inwards as to why this keeps happening.

I have a pal who is a Millwall fan, he assures me on a weekly basis that he was excellent for them.Have we though? Millwall are much better without him, and we're much worse with him.
Very highly rated at Spuds unall.I have a pal who is a Millwall fan, he assures me on a weekly basis that he was excellent for them.
We are on a real bad run of ruining players it seems.Very highly rated at Spuds unall.
Spot on. Needs a giant next to him then he’d be effective. He was excellent at the Wall. Very good against us thats why many wanted him. Why has he dropped off? The explanation is two fold imo. Firstly he had a giant in Cooper as his CB partner. He swept up behind him not having to worry about an aerial assault. Secondly for unfathomable reasons. CW made him captain. Did he angle for this when we bought him? He isnt a natural leader and the extra responsibility is a burden that has affected his game. Looking after Bindon and the two young full backs seems too much to handle.
Mee in the side provided an experienced head alongside. The partnership was the best pairing this season interupted by Mees injury concerns. When Mc Guinness a Cooper style alternative played Tanganga reverted to the left side and struggled. CW then played him out of position at RB again a failure.
I agree his body language and lack of concentration (see Swanseas second goal) reflects his current mood. For us to get the best out of him the burden of captaincy has to be relinquished. A Souttar style replacement has to be first on the recruitment list. There is a player in there imo. Question is does Tanganga want to be here next season
The issue he has is that they are a mismatch. Mee is past it, McGuinness is fucking useless, Bindon is half decent but not our player and he’s too similar to Tangs. Bindon and Tanganga are too light weight for the standard championship forward line. They both lack pace and leave massive gaps open. When Peck & Jairo are off the field there is zero protection for the CB.I think the problem here is that it seems that Wilder still hasn't figured out how to set up a defence in a back 4. There's always so much space for opposing attackers, it has to be a structural issue.
Made him captain ! Not suited to being one. We've made him worse. So we once again need to start looking inwards as to why this keeps happening.
True. Tanganga and Bindon don't seem to mesh well together. Which is a shame because they're both good defenders. The issue he has is that they are a mismatch. If we had a fit Souttar in a partnership with Tanganga I reckon that would be very strong. (As long as we had full backs that could tackle and defend, too)
Who else could be captain?Made him captain ! Not suited to being one.
