A good prospect certainlyNo brainer, young defence player with good skill and can come forward, surely we need to sign this guy after being on trial here, he can only and will get better with the right players around him, blow the dosh United, make a change from signing old has beens and dross loans, we've had a look at him he's good with the right attitude.
The signing of burrows after a fantastic season playing as a wing back with terrific forward stats, and also a role that Posh fans shielded some of his defensive frailties, and then playing him in a flat back four barely allowed to cross the half way line was criminal really. I’m talking about his first season there and he was part of a tremendous record defensively but completely under utilising all of his positive attributes.Been thinking about if we should go back to the original 352 from wilder mk1 days. Seriki & burrows is perfect for the wb roles & Tanganga would be fine as the rcb, ohare in the Duffy role, bamford Campbell up top.
But make sure we have players that we can actually change formation back to the 442/ 4231 if needed as & when.
Then again cant see Wilder ever going back to it or how it worked before (his ego won't allow it nor his bottle these days).
Disagree, Tanganga is going nowhere and is our captain so we have to assume hes a starter next season. His partnership with Bindon has been poor and we've never looked secure in the centre of the defence. So why spend 10m or whatever Forest will want for him to ensure we r no better in that area of the pitch next year?No brainer, young defence player with good skill and can come forward, surely we need to sign this guy after being on trial here, he can only and will get better with the right players around him, blow the dosh United, make a change from signing old has beens and dross loans, we've had a look at him he's good with the right attitude.
We need 4 CBs, and Tanganga, Bindon, McGuinness and a new big dominant unit might be the best we can hope for. Bindon wouldn’t cost anything like £10m unless he shines at the World Cup. I know some on here don’t rate him, but I think he’s going to be a real player. He plays in a position where very few of his age are anywhere close to what they are eventually going to be, and there’s loads of development to come from him. Forest bought him for a reason, and their scouting and recruitment is far superior to ours.Disagree, Tanganga is going nowhere and is our captain so we have to assume hes a starter next season. We need a 6ft 4in win everything CB and thats not Bindon. Someone, somewhere at the club thought it was McGuiness but its not so we need to bring in a better version of him.
Of course if Tanganga is sold then Bindon becomes a good target to play with the dominant CB we need to bring in.
'Forest bought him for a reason and their scouting and recruitment is far superior to ours'....totally....so why do you say he wouldn't cost anything like £10m?We need 4 CBs, and Tanganga, Bindon, McGuinness and a new big dominant unit might be the best we can hope for. No more than £5m, which would be a very substantial profit for Forest.'Forest bought him for a reason and their scouting and recruitment is far superior to ours'....totally....so why do you say he wouldn't cost anything like £10m?
If the 'rumours' are true we have paid at least that for Tanganga (a Millwall fan on the way back from the match at their place reckoned 14m) and McGuiness cost Luton up to 10m from Cardiff so we will have paid a lot for him too. Bindon has played a full season in the Championship so what do you think he will cost?
Me too.Be well up for flogging Tanganga to one of the promoted teams and spending some of it on Bindon. Needs a big unit to go next to him though.
5m wd be another brainer but I think u r being very optimistic, we paid close on that for Zatterstrom who has never kicked a ball in the championship! No more than £5m, which would be a very substantial profit for Forest.
We’ll see.5m wd be another brainer but I think u r being very optimistic, we paid close on that for Zatterstrom who has never kicked a ball in the championship!
He reminds me of a very young Alan Hansen . There , that’s cursed the young manWe need 4 CBs, and Tanganga, Bindon, McGuinness and a new big dominant unit might be the best we can hope for.
