He was due to miss, just like Burrows was at Hull, based on the quality of his penalties

Honestly this Birmingham side aren’t anything special, even with us down to 10 men.

It’s just not a red card. The ball travels in the direction of Seriki’s challenge. The slip was unfortunate but didn’t merit a foul. Davies is culpable for not saving the freekick & poor starting position.

Why we’ve not capitalised on that penalty. It’s poor from Peck, granted we’ve seen him bury one or two. It should have been Bamford after the delay

I thought refs were encouraged to keep it at 11 v 11 if possible. Terrible decision that and spoilt the game

Rubbish. He’s a young lad learning his trade and has had to carry us on occasions this season. That shouldn’t be the case, but the mentality of our squad is shite.

I usually find myself agreeing with your views Nick but I have to push back here.

Can you tell me what he excels at?

On the ball he's ponderous on the half turn, taking too many touches and often getting caught in possession. He struggles to break past his player going forward.

Off the ball he's worse, he struggles to intercept between the lines and is often caught behind the play when a team breaks on us. He's not big or athletic enough.

He obviously has a reputation and some pedigree because he came through Arsenal's academy and he's been around England's junior levels but I can't see him performing at top end Champ/Prem in his long term career as others seem to assume he will.
