Can’t talk about him though according to DisneyMan United are capable of scoring when Bruno isn't playing. Doesn't mean it's smart to not play him.

I've never once slated Hamer until today, you're welcome to go back and try and find posts in such a vein, but today was the straw that broke the camels back. We're carrying him far too often. And he's carrying a bit too much timber. He could run like Bolt, be as clean as Linekar , cover as much ground as Kante and do your ironing for free on the side, and some of you would still rather be seeing Nick Montgomery out there.
A dumb yellow card doesn't erase the reality of him being our main creative threat. 8 assists in 9 is a ridiculous mark of quality and it's laughable to suggest we're carrying a player producing that much for us. Shit discipline isn't a Hamer problem, it's a Sheffield United under Wilder problem.I've never once slated Hamer until today, you're welcome to go back and try and find posts in such a vein, but today was the straw that broke the camels back. My point is half the team have problems with their discipline under Wilder. Hence the red cards every other week and mass brawls from last season. It's definitely a Hamer problem.
His disciplinary record at Coventry was also horrendous.
When we first signed Hamer his disciplinary record was horrendous. He got 2 red cards in his first 7 games IIRC. We couldn't believe what kind of madman we had signed. But Robins and his coaching team shaped him into the player he became. It's definitely a Hamer problem.

We are in a position to let him go with end of season window coming up.Ok he creates goals with his brilliance but is he worth the frustration he creates amongst his team mates along with Wilder and fans! Yes his team mates must get exasperated with him .How can an experienced player get himself booked in the last minute knowing he is now missing two games.A dumb yellow card doesn't erase the reality of him being our main creative threat. 8 assists in 9 is a ridiculous mark of quality and it's laughable to suggest we're carrying a player producing that much for us. Good post from a Coventry fan Wilder would benefit from reading that. When we first signed Hamer his disciplinary record was horrendous. He got 2 red cards in his first 7 games IIRC. He has been wasted at your club for most of the time he has been with you. One of the most naturally gifted players I have ever seen play for my club. His position is CM and pulling the strings for everything that happens in front of him. Yet you put him on the left so he loses half of his game. I'm not surprised if he has an attitude problem again.
You don't need all 10 players back defending especially if you're looking to score goals. Leaving Hamer near the halfway line makes sure the other side leaves players back. Add to this a tricky player with pace....we used a player called O'Hare.....and you go from defending to in your opponents box within 5 seconds.
I know he isn't in the best of shape and isn't the player he was with us but I would welcome him back. If we go up this season I would be happy for a straight swap with Simms. He doesn't get enough playing time as Haji Wright fits better into the system we use but he scores goals. A 6'4" striker who is good with his head. Lampard would get a naturally gifted CM to work with, get him into shape and find his love for the game again. We won't have the funds to sign the players we need and know it will be difficult, so we will need to be clever in the transfer market. Instead of losing Hamer for nothing in another year or having to take a low fee where we would still get 10% of any fee you get for him you would get what you desperately need.
To be fair, that’s an extremely low bar. Your club isn’t exactly noted for ever having naturally gifted players. Whereas in recent seasons we’ve had Ndiaye and Gibbs-White so we are quite understandably not going to be dazzled by Hamer to the extent a Coventry fan would be.One of the most naturally gifted players I have ever seen play for my club.
I'm not just a recent supporter. I could name Maddison if only recent years, but I raise you Dion Dublin if not. Joint top scorer in top.flight when he played half the season in defence. We've had some great players over the years and some of them found their way to your club afterwards. Ndlovu anyone? To be fair, that’s an extremely low bar. Spot on for me that analysis I’ve said the same on other sites.Great player but doesn’t seem to take the game too seriously.I didn’t like how he swapped shirts on the pitch at Hull city with Mcburnie after we’d lost yet another game but that’s just a window into his personality and like you say he won’t change.Doesn’t seem to have the drive to become a top player that’s why he’s still here. He’s a really fun player. He’s not a very serious player. He won’t change.
I’ll miss the outrageous moments, but cold eyed rationality says we get him off the wage bill in summer. Serves us right for wasting this season.
Said the same to my old fella coming out of game. That looked like a player that fancied a few days rest to me.Totally unnecessary booking .Hamer should have his wages docked for that booking utterly stupid! almost the last kick of the game and he feels angry with the ref awarding WBA a free kick ! So he starts waving his arms at the ref
absolutely crazy! Did he want a week off cus that's what it looked like.
He is an enigma as he seems uninterested and then pulls off a great pass or shot. I just don't get his mentality! Great and shockingly bad all in the space of a few minutes .
No wonder Wilder is losing his hair managing Gus and trying to get the best from him.
If he wants away his attitude will put prem teams off him.
YawnMy point is half the team have problems with their discipline under Wilder. Hence the red cards every other week and mass brawls from last season.
Intelligent contributionYawn
Well I'm fed up of the Wilder bashers ! If you don't understand what a great job he's done this season and previously you are the unintelligent one .Intelligent contribution
I'm fine with the job he's done this season, but we have had a discipline problem over the last couple of seasons.Well I'm fed up of the Wilder bashers ! If you don't understand what a great job he's done this season and previously you are the unintelligent one .

He would but he's not open minded enoughGood post from a Coventry fan Wilder would benefit from reading that.
I've said before , if Prem wanted him , he'd already be there - he has no ambition , which is the reason he doesn't bother improving himself.Hamer is brilliant in the Championship.
In the Prem, he will be on the bench more than anything because of his fitness, and if not, be banned because of his discipline.
