Jackett's getting a bit too big for his boots if you ask me. I fancied him at The Lane before we appointed Weir and he's done well in turning round Wolves' fortunes with gaining promotion last season.
However, he had the benefit of a bloody good squad for League 1 and the bonus of premier league parachute payments that gave him a significant advantage in the transfer market. This seems to have given him the idea that he can just click his fingers, wave the chequebook and players will flock to the new promised land of the west midlands.
The Championship will see a big leap in quality for him and his squad and i'll take my hat off to him if he gets them into the top ten or even sniffing round the play-off places.
Since he bought KMac from us though, things have changed at SUFC and we're giving out the message that we're no longer the bargain basement that we have been for many, many years.
So Mr Jackett, if you want Harry Maguire, flash the cash, pay the required price, or shut the fuck up as Sothall Blade says.
