A bad episode of the office from our owner.

Fair play to him, comes across as a decent, genuine fella.

I prefer that they don’t want the limelight, leave it to Betis, his team and wilder.

That’s how I saw it too.
Also it takes guts to admit you made a mistake, then willing to admit that mistake and rectify it.

To be fair……very few owners ever make comments about anything. They stay in the shadows…..and only appear when there’s a big crisis.
It also provided clarity that Rosen won’t be doing much with the media and he’ll leave club to fan communication down to Steve Bettis.

One thing mentioned that I agree with;

Stay until the end, I cannot fathom why, unless we're 3 or 4 down, anyone would decide to leave early.

Last train/bus home? Fair enough.

Imagine you're a player and the stands are full with supporters willing you on, you would likely find an extra yard.

Half empty stands because people cba to stay, you'd feel the apathy creeping in.

True, but paying fans are entitled to do as they please. The healthy salaries going into the players' bank account every week probably should serve as enough motivation.

True, but imagine paying for something then not staying to see what the outcome was.

You wouldn’t go to a gig and leave before the finale, you wouldn’t go to the theatre and leave before the final scene, not sure why football is different.
Strange things happen sometimes in football and whilst I’d always agree you have the right as a paying customer to leave early, I’ll never really understand why you would.

Disagree.
They’re not robots.
Fans means fanatic, not half arsed fluffers

You would if the rest of the gig / performance was absolutely dire. Ive known people walk out of gigs
That’s also true.

Here’s a ‘what if’ for you - you leave the gig early because it was shite, then your mate who went to the same gig stayed to the end and told you in the pub afterwards that the encore was the best they’d ever seen…

I've left gigs early and the theatre early because they weren't very good and they weren't going to get any better.
