How should we welcome them and their fans on Sunday?

Whilst every club has a small bunch of undesirables who turn up, most clubs have loyal fans like ours. Over the last 6 months Wednesday fans have supported their club as would be expected.
Taking the piss out of their fans who turn up on Sunday does not reflect well on us.
Of course I want us to win, but it’s not the fault of loyal fan bases up and down the country when their clubs are woefully mismanaged.
Concentrate on supporting us and bask in the warmth of a victory.
Fucking hell there is no wonder you have named yourself Snowflake.

I hope we beat them on Sunday.

I also hope that this relegation is the start of a long period of decline for them, not the end of it, which is how they are seeing it.

Here's hoping........
"start of a long period of decline"
Where have all have you been for the last 25 years? 😂

I’m pretty old fashioned. I think. Give their top boy a firm handshake in Argos carpark, maintaining eye contact.

I've always thought that the netting above the away end at the Lane has a weak spot. Yes it will stop missiles. But if you lob an open bottle of liquid down from the BLUT the liquid will just seep down onto the fans below.

Not encouraging anyone do anything like that of course.
Stewards spoilt it all when they stopped us taking boiling oil in....

Jumping to conclusions ?
I named myself “snowflake” because it was snowing at the time I joined.
I think you may be part of a strident minority.

It would be a nice gesture, if at the end of the game, chance what the score, if Chris Wilder went over to applaud their fans.
This would be a mark of respect. If they chose not to see it that way, that's their problem.
Anybody else think the same.😉
I'm going to be in the BLUT and it would be simply loveleh to have the squad come over afterwards and give us a wave up there 😁

Play We'll meet again at full time in a show of support that they will "bounce" back. It wouldn't be a piss taking mockery of their relegation at all 😉

Fly over from a crop duster, loaded with 10000 gallons of lynx Africa over the assembled massive wendy horde. Followed by 30000 gallons of water.

Before they're allowed into BDTBL.

Many have jumped to similar conclusions about what I was doing when I picked my user name though it was true in my case.

You mean they aren't your real names??? I'm crushed, game's really gone now 😱😭😱

UTBFTP 👊👊👊

There was 100% netting there last season vs the pigs

100% there was not. :D Bottles thrown down too in the vid.

Yeah cus modern society just isn't quite sanitised or beige enough is it? We really should've come up with some emotional support chants to lift the pigs spirits before the game. F(_)ck me

The passion of the game is about escapism for regular people, a couple of hours where they can feel alive, be daft, petty, maybe even a bit yobbish and free themselves of the restrictions of society and working life.

Yes there a limit as with anything but it comes to a point where a mentality like yours just starts to squeeze the life out of life itself.
Soulless, lifeless and with the personality of a wet sponge.

I think you have entirely missed the point.
Passion is an integral part of any sport and football in particular. I have no desire to take that away nor to sanitise.
What I was pointing out was my belief that the majority of fans from all clubs are loyal and normal people, not the imbeciles that form a very small part of each club, including our own.
However personalising abuse seems to me a step too far.

The rivalry with Wednesday was, is and always should be gnarly and full of venom. We hate eachother and part of the fun is that it’s a separate reality to regular society, so as long as no one’s breaking the law F(_)CK EM

Er, he hasn’t (entirely 🤨) missed the point. And you are over thinking it.

True: the first part is as I see it.
Perhaps having known fans whose club has folded at grassroots level as well as professional my views are a little clouded.
I also feel that when I meet fans of other clubs they are sensible, level headed but still passionate. It is the hate aspect that I find difficult to accept.
