Absolutely incredible this kid couldn't get in one of the worst teams in Championship history just 2 years ago after unimpressive loans at Rochdale and Boston. I also remember his debut against Forest under Hecky when you wondered whether he might be one of those "one game Blades".

Up until last season I presumed he'd be another Kyron Gordon or Harvey Gilmour. It's insane how far he's come on in the last few years

I wasn't at the game at Gigg Lane in 2015/16 under Madkins stewardship. I do remember some who attended saying DCL's performance (one of his first, if not his debut?) was comically bad, and he looked like he'd won a competition etc etc.

Now look at him. Not only sartorial elegance, but a r8 player.

His debut was a sub at Brisbane Road....I think I saw it but I had been on the shandy all lunchtime, so I can't remember if he was any good, or not.

Been saying for ages, the lad is a quality prospect.
Ask yourself if you've seen a better full back in the league this season. I genuinely haven't.

Hes got everything, pace, strength and limitless attacking ability. Wingers dont fancy playing him as they know they cant beat him round the outside and they cant out battle him His one weakness, positional sense , has improved immeasurably and hes on the way to becoming Kyle Walker mark 2.

True but you have to remember Walker was only 19 and had barely played a dozen games when McCabe flogged him to Spurs! Seriki is class though, a definite premier league player in the making. Sadly I don’t see him being with us next season.

Him and Brooks have an amazing knack of being able to go 'through' opponents in 1 on 1 situations. They manage to get through them an inordinate amount of times when it looks too tight

Brooks has gone from a 1 in 4 performer to more like a 1 in 2 performer (usually at home). I think Seriki can take a lot of the credit. They've looked a partnership from the start
