Campbell, Cannon & Ings

To be fair, Cannon seems to be putting himself about more than before, but Ings looks like he's just topping up his retirement fund, and Campbell, going through the motions at best most of the time. All three guilty of poor decision making.
Both Campbell and Cannon could have played into someone who would have had a tap in last night.
Mind you, so could Bamford, excpet Bamford has tons more to offer than the others.

Campbell last year was fantastic. This season he's popped up here and again but has looked a shadow of the player - maybe he finishes games, comes on for the last half an hour instead of starting.

Cannon, to his credit, looks much improved - Naturally the pairing with Bamford has helped that. Also, he's the quickest/ most mobile of the three and actually does chase & press...

Ings has disappointed, which is a shame because he could have been really good at the level - but can see his legs have failed him. Wouldn't be shocked if he's let go at the end of the season.

They were indeed last night.
Unfortunately so we're several other players.

Our passing was woeful last night. The number of times when we were in possession and moving forwards, then misplaced a pass was criminal.

Appalling wasn't it?
Hopeful aimless balls forward to Campbell or Cannon rarely getting to them.
Misplaced passes, getting caught in possession, having to rush passes because we dithered on the ball.
A bad night all round as you say mate.

Suggesting binning Campbell off is laughable. He was excellent last season. He just needs to play through whatever funk he's in...and we need to up our creativity for him.
He never runs the channels to receive the ball, his pressing is a token gesture and his effort and physical commitment is sadly lacking

How can people think he’s just going through a bad spell and it’s up to his teammates to create more opportunities for him.
He barely breaks sweat, he looks a stone overweight and his greatest asset, his explosive pace which gained him that yard of space from which to get a shot on goal, has deserted him.
But worst of all, he appears to be content just going through the motions and robbing a living, which is hard to understand given his form last season, when he was a totally different player

I'm afraid he falls into the category of players who have no will power, drive and ambition. He's quite happy picking up a big wage for little effort.
Mousset mark 2.

Cannon looks a lot better player when he’s been partnered with Bamford .. as for Ings legs have long since gone .. and Campbell well he’s been proved to be player that the Stoke fans said he was … personally I would us rather have played Marsh / One in front of Campbell & Ings ⚔️

think both campbell and ings will go in the summer cannon is showing better signs of late and think he will benefit from bamford arriving but we definetly need 2 new strikers in the summer

Worryingly that sounds a lot like the Mansfield game with a very similar starting 11.

Agreed. He's only 26 years old and has at least another 6 years in him. He just needs a good run of games to get his fitness to where it should be. If he doesn't perform then move him on.

He had zero service the other night when our midfield was non exisitant, so let's get that sorted ASAP.

I wouldn't mind if his next goal is the first of a double hatrick on the 22nd of Feb 😂

Ings brings nothing to the table he’s embarrassing us and himself
Campbell is a passenger he’s still in credit with his goals at the sty but he’s shot at the moment waste of a shirt

The signing of ings must be up there with when we signed Ian Rush! An absolute embarrassment to him and the club, its made us a costly laughing stock, its quite obvious to anybody whats watched football, he'd be hard pressed to get in a Sunday league team.

Ings is shot.If we can get him off the wage bill and use the wages elsewhere do it.

Campbell is an elephant chasing a beach ball. I'd keep him for next season on the proviso he gets fit. He's next to useless this season. Disagree that he had no service the other night. There were ample opportunities for him to make a run behind his marker for a through ball or accelerate away with the ball. He doesn't take them because he's keenly aware it isn't in his locker.Early doors he couldn't even get in the box when the ball was wide.

One needs game time. I'd monitor him and Marsh with a qaview to having them into the matchday squad next season. There's an argument to have One as first choice forward sub now. Not quite convinced but I could be wrong

That leaves Cannon and Bamford.

we definetly need 2 new strikers in this summer campbell and ings are shot i would like to see us go for piroe and a big physical striker

Agree that Ings looks done at this level.
Cannon does at least try but he's too lightweight to play as a lone striker and struggles with positioning sometimes.
Campbell a real disappointment this season - seems to have the hump about something.
