That was without question one of the worst games of football ive ever seen us play. That includes that awful Premier league season, the Dean Hammond league one season and the 1st half of the pre-christmas Bassett season.

Only Bamford comes out of that game with any praise, the rest - shocking.

Chong is Ollie Burke part 2, speed but not much else, Mccallum looked like the poor version from last season, Gus looked like he had a Fifa 25 stamina rating of 15 and where has the real Coopet gone? I could carry on but why bother.

Roll on Peck and Mee coming back, bring on the January transfer window and please give the captaincy back to Arblaster.

The tractor can wait, my cows are fat enough, off to the sauna.

Their 3rd our defending was bad I’ve looked back on it a few times McCallum what were you trying to do with your none header? We were so sh1t in the 2nd half I though Wilder would have rung he changers far earlier even Stevie Wonder could have seen that!

Midfield is the bigger problem. So light on quality there being highlighted more now Peck is out. Arblaster isn't ready yet but having to play it seems as Soumare and Matos aren't good enough.
Yes, the midfield give zero protection to the back line and offered nothing going forward…Shit.

Arblaster pulled out of a couple of 50/50 tackles in the 1st half. I don't blame him because of the injury he suffered but a clear sign,in my opinion, he isn't ready. I would rather him be playing U21 games for the next few weeks to build up his strength and fitness and protect his long-term future

Can see your point Bart but i would rarther have a one legged Arblaster than a 2 legged Soumarie. Awful player.

In the 2nd half their players put a shift in ours just pranced about.
They closed us down quickly forcing us backwards or to go long, they won all the 2nd balls they were also alot more physical than us while we was soft as s#!t.
We wasn't exactly helped by the Ref who definitely was a homer, but thats just a minor grumble as we didn't deserve anything.

Arblaster is not fit yet.
This and although I'm all for getting him back it can't be at the expense of he team. He's tidy on the ball but his fitness or lack of is killing us in the middle next to reidewald who needs someone next to him to do some leg work. Not a criticism of arblaster but certainly of Wilder...out for 13 months (!) played one hour in a reserve game and then 60 mins, 70 mins and a full match..that's absolutely crazy and I'd say highly negligent towards a - a huge asset, and b - someone who has had three long term absences.

Yes I know there aren't a lot of other options in there...but come on it was so obvious tonight...once they broke out press it was straight to attack v defence
