The only worrying bit for me is if he ends up anywhere near the first team. He’s obviously going through some shit, but of the little we’ve seen of him, he’s not up to the task of being a championship level footballer.

I suspect he’s had some kind of long standing injury / issue that’s been ignored and is now suffering the consequences. How much of that could be laid at United’s door is anyone’s guess. Putting stuff like this on social media won’t help his cause though.
