Interesting bit on the Official blades sight about the "Owners and Executives of the Football leagues conference in Portugal.
One bit was about artificial playing surfaces where in their divisional meetings leagues 1 & 2 indicated their 'In principal support' but want further analysis before a formal consideration later in the year.
While the Championship clubs are not supporting there use in their division but not objecting to there use in divisions 1 & 2 or in cup competitions.
So what happens if div 1 allows them, you get one and then get promotion to the Championship , do you have to dig it up ?

Good question. Teams get a year or two's grace to get rid of standing terraces so perhaps the same would apply.

Our own new surface will a hybrid itself.

That'd be a right pain in the arse for a yoyo team like Peterborough.
