CONFIRMED Patrick Bamford

I predict he’ll score tomorrow and at least another 6 goals before January, get a contract and be out injured by February 🤨
More likely he plays himself into a bit of form for us - but then signs for an MLS team in January!

What is quite impressive about Bamford is his underrated creativity.

For every 2.5 goals he scores he assists one more.

That stacks up pretty well when you put it alongside his goal every 191 minutes ratio, not to mention when 319 out of his 356 appearances have been in the top two tiers and with 217 of those being at the top level.

He’s only just 32 as well. Not as if he’s ready for the knackers yard yet.

I’m not quite saying McGoldrick vibes but this could end up being a clever move. He’s also good in the air which the team has been begging for.
Like those stats, thank you. I just hope he has some legs left and we don’t isolate him like we seem to lie to do with our forwards

Campbell has been poor and not looked interested, we can't keep picking him based on last seasons form and hope he comes good.
Time for a rest and a kick up the arse
I’m no chiropractor but he plays like a man with a bad back, speaking as a man with a bad back. I think he’s basically performed admirably as I think he’s fucked after an hour (I’m talking about his entire spell)

So, Ings, Campbell, One, Cannon, would get all the match minutes and Bamford never feature??

At the moment he isn't match fit,so no, he wouldn't feature.

I guess he has a solid championship career under his belt, but I've never rated him. Even in Bielsa's dynamic attacking side, he missed too many chances.

I take you point though. With our current attack ing4, so out of form, maybe he could go the bench in a week or two, but it's very much a punt.

Wilders not brought him in on a short spell to not play him. He’ll be starting today.

Will link up the play like McGoldrick did. If he’s fit will be an asset.

Some crazy meltdowns about a 6 week signing, but that’s modern football fans I guess.
I enjoy the meltdowns. They can be very entertaining and also useful for gauging who to take no notice of in any debate.

Looked good. Mini highlights of him on Sky showed his class really well.
Hilarious seeing him doing Wilder is a wanker, with CW , song and dance at the end, in front of away end. Great stuff.

Looked well when he came on for his cameo, excellent pass for cannons 1v1, u mucky with the backflick (should have dummies it or tbh seriki should have passed to an unmarked peck).

Another two I hope can keep fit.

He got totalled by Cooper.

Ref seemed to have forgot about the rules around what is or isn't a penalty today.
I know but just made me laugh, given his history. A leopard never changes his spots. Hopefully he'll get a few decisions
