CONFIRMED Patrick Bamford

I didn't want him on the grounds that he is a non-striking striker.

Now I know he's a full weight scab, he can fuck even further right off.

BTW, when do the FA annouce the ground closure, for Billy being headbutted and our equad being attacked?
You'll wait for ever for that, they won the European Cup you know!

thats not the worst shout ive seen on here and might just be available on loan similar to adam armstrong top championship striker but just not up to premier league level and wilder was rumoured to be after him a few years ago when he was at swansea
Another 5 years, then he might be on our radar 😊

Sign this prick and I'm done

Proper gimp is Bamford, exact opposite of what I'd want in a Sheff Utd player.

Another player we know loads about, we know is awful (this iteration) and have signed anyway.

We just keep walking onto the end of jabs and wondering why our nose is bleeding.

Ings, Mee and Ogbene were all kebab shop pick-ups but at least you can kick them out early doors.
We married McGuinness.

Other than criminality, should we, as fans and not team mates, judge any player only by what he does on the pitch?

It's all about opinions.

I thought Ings had a great game v Hull and he showed desire, skill and didnt stop for the time he was one the pitch.

Could he have done better with his headed chance, im not sure because he was stretching and I suspect he couldn't control the finish too much.

It was always going to take time for him to get upto speed.

If fit, he starts in front of all the other strikers IMO (admittedly, that isn't a high bar at the moment).

Like I said, its all about opinions as we all see games/players differently and look for different things.

Is the squad stronger or weaker with him here?

Arguably, the squad might be 'stronger' (never mind the quality, feel the width), but our first team isn't.

That depends. If we start with a front 2, who is the best partner for Campbell out of Ings, One and Bamford? We don't need to include Cannon in the discussion.

I'd play COH, Hamer or Brooks, in a front two, ahead of Bamford.

There was a good reason why there wasn't a pack of championship clubs clamouring for his signature. He's not really very good.

What is quite impressive about Bamford is his underrated creativity.

For every 2.5 goals he scores he assists one more.

That stacks up pretty well when you put it alongside his goal every 191 minutes ratio, not to mention when 319 out of his 356 appearances have been in the top two tiers and with 217 of those being at the top level.

He’s only just 32 as well. Not as if he’s ready for the knackers yard yet.

I’m not quite saying McGoldrick vibes but this could end up being a clever move. He’s also good in the air which the team has been begging for.

Surely it will be the best partner for ings? Campbell has been poor mostly this season and Ings was far better of the 2 against QPR
Campbell has been poor and not looked interested, we can't keep picking him based on last seasons form and hope he comes good.
Time for a rest and a kick up the arse

Yeah but he's shit though. Read it on here

Wilder mentioned giving Campbell “a rocket” during the international break. I’ve been convinced he’s carrying an injury but maybe he’s just well off the pace?

Agreed. One or two others who have been dining out on last season too
