Great player 5 or 6 years ago and I seem to remember we were linked with him around our Prem season. Given how well Alcock played on Satdi, I think it's full back cover we need rather than CB.

Alcock is a full back, covering at centre back.

Because it shows that he can cover at CB. As it stands we have;

CB - McGahey, Butler, Collins (Alcock cover)
FB - Alcock, Harris (Davies cover)

We need an extra FB, not another CB IMO.

I would put St Legder ahead of Collins and Butler player wise but the fact we already have them makes it a waste of a player / wage at this stage.

We need a natural CB and leader for this team if you have the likes of Reed and Scougall next to you and McGahey alongside. He obviously is moving away from Collins and Doyle. What's happened with Butler is anyone's guess. He says he wants a CB and both alcock and Davies can play RB

I mentioned him a while back and got slagged, i think he would be fine in Division 3 as people forget thats where we are.
