There's a massive number of alternatives we could've had. A wide range of player types, from all over the place, domestic or abroad

We could have had Woolfenden for example, who's gone to Coventry. Mepham, who's gone to WBA. Or a different example, Terry Yegbe, who went to Metz for only 2.5m

Such a weird signing this one. Seemed to come out of nowhere, and raised a lot of eyebrows after his performances at Luton and the fact we'd already signed 5 centre halves. Nothing we've seen since has made it look any more sensible.

It looks as though he was signed because Bindon and Zatterstrom had been deemed substandard, which in itself shows how much of a joke that transfer window was.

I think we must have got a 2 for 1 on him and Chong?

As in, I know Chong's fee wasn't disclosed. Luton get players of their books. Wasn't he a £10m signing for them?

We also were at that point playing a back 4 so in theory he should be on the bench...

A brand new back 3 with a nervous goalkeeper is always going to be hard watching, so hopefully he will improve as the side does.

Clear he isn't at the same level as Mee and Tanganga though.

Zatterstrom is a buy for the future surely.

Bindon was Selle's man and hasn't shown he is up to being a CB at championship level yet. Surely he will go back in January (if thats an option).

He's already misjudged and ran under more headers in his blades career than anyone else I can remember. That's a really poor trait for a 6' 4" centre half.
