Thanks to the double scarves (half amber and black, half red & white), your colours will be on quite a few Hull City fans at Wembley. I must admit, I doubt the final will match the semi-final with you ... which the media generally said was a belting FA Cup tie .... I noticed you didn't even make the play offs ... I don't know how you can get so far in the cup and not get into the play offs. You're a very loud bunch so if you can use the momentum from the cup run to come out of the traps like the clappers next season you have to be ready to go up. Hull City spent quite a while down in the third and fourth divisions nearly going out of the league but once the upward momentum starts, it can carry you right to the Premier League with consecutive promotions. It's been done before. I hope Clough gets the backing he needs though isn't your youth set up supposed to be good? ... and Liverpool obviously trust their young lads at your place ... if I were you, I'd look forward to next season. Have a good 'un and thanks for a cracking game at Wembley. It was a great, proud, Yorkshire day. Arsenal will be tough to beat but it's been done. We're the underdogs now!! :-)

Well, we may be in the Premier League but fortunately, we mostly, still have our feet on the ground and know where we've spent most of our lives as a football team so we still make videos like this ... as excited about getting to Wembley to play you lot as you were. It must be hell being a Man U fan ... distraught at not playing in Europe ... taking too much for granted ..... just looked for the odds on you getting promoted next season. They're not out yet. I'll have a fiver on you going up. Enjoy your end of season. Good luck to you lot. You ... if Hull City had got to an FA Cup semi final when we were in the old third division, it would have been the greatest day in the club's history. You can afford to be a bit more blase about it! :-)

Well, it HAS crossed my mind that if we win it, you'll have lost in a cracking game to the eventual winners. You played some gorgeous football in the semi .... the movement, the runs off the ball, the guile, skill ... and the wall of sound coming from your end ... but then again, you are a "sleeping giant" .... how many seasons have you had in the top flight? How many FA Cup semis have you been to? Historically, you're big, we're catching up after years of being at best a steady mid second division "first on the coupon for a draw" club ... in our third season in the top flight ever ... it's all still a novelty for us .... we're getting more and more excited about the FA Cup final but getting tickets is such a farce it means we'll have fewer fans there than we had for the semi so, in many respects the match v you was more of an event for the fans ... I'll be watching the final in the pub ... if we win and you don't hear from me again, I may have overdone it on the sauce ... but what a way to go! :-)

A lot of fans of opposing teams could have come here and done the old Billy Big Bollocks routine. The Hull fans I've come across have all been pretty much the same as the original poster, which makes a refreshing change.

Good luck to Hull in the final, although I think Arsenal may just nick it.

I think most Hull City fans know what we are ... looking at our history, these are definitely good days but the top flight isn't our natural habitat and I said when we went up we might well need to be one of the "yo-yo" clubs for a couple of decades before we could stick in the top flight for any length of time ... look at Bolton, Wigan (who came from nowhere to reach the top flight) .... there are hardly any teams in the Championship who haven't been in the top flight at some time so you have to accept only about 8 clubs can expect to spend a long time in the Premier League and getting out of the Championship is HELL! .... well, .... I mean in the right direction.

What's it come to, being patronised and patted on the head by a Hull fan, however well intentioned.

I'm up the Arse, I'm afraid. Nothing against Hull at all but I ❤️ proper football and Arsenal, under Wenger, have been a shining light.
Yep. They've won fuck all for the last nine years, but it's been very pretty fuck all. And yet Arsenal fans like to moan about it. They should try it from our angle, we've won fuck all for donkey's years and lots of it has been very, very ugly. I'd not swap them though, I'd not swap with anybody. Otherwise I would have swapped already.

Nothing against Hull City at all. At least Tigers fans are likely to actually live in Hull rather than anywhere south of Birmingham, and the media don't bore us all to death every time they get a new manager. And as far as I know Damon Albarn doesn't support them. The fans have seen a fair amount of tripe over the last few decades while Arsenal supporters drooled over Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Cesc Fabregas etc so it's Hull's turn for a bit of fun and fame.

Very likely in 10 years time Hull will be in the Third with their barmy chairman long gone and the Blades will be in the Premier League, in which case we shall hopefully be as magnanimous as HCF is now.

I accept all that SV, but the vast majority of football clubs have won fuck all in the last nine years. However, I'd gladly have nine years in the wilderness for the sake of two or three years of magic from Bergkamp, Henry, Vieira et al. Arse will outclass Hull and finally pick up another trophy.

Anyway, enough of other teams. I'm off to cheer the Mighty Blades - Next year's Invincibles!

Now, where did I put that beard?

❤️⚽:)

I'm team Arsenal.

With the exception of the OP all other Hull fans have been so far up their own arses leading upto and after the semi final it's untrue. Look at Norwich and see how easy things can change. All it needs is for Bruce to land a decent job and they could well be playing us in the championship season after next.

Enjoy your time up the pedestal Hull fans but it's a bit wobbly and you'll get knocked off it at some point...

On another note, oh how I wish Birmingham had got relegated yesterday.. Horrible cunts as fans.

I hope we have gone out to the eventual winners but I do fear Arsenal will have too much for Hull but you never know Arsenal have taken some huge beatings this season and if Hull get at them they might just knock them out of their stride and nick it.

Yeh,not be like the semi with us ,you'll get thrashed ! :p

My troll detector just went off the chart.

I think most City fans accept Arsenal will be likely winners but reaching the final for the first time is a big deal for us so we're enjoying the ride and the prospect of European football is also a first. As a Yorkshireman, I'd hate Yorkshire not to have a team in the Premier League. Thanks for all the nice comments. I hope we don't knick your best players. Bruce is targetting British players for the academy and early Europa League rounds now. I think you are the only Yorkshire club we buy players from. We loan to Leeds & Wednesday but buy from you. It held City back for years selling their best players so I'm sorry if we take players that would get you promoted. You should be minimum top half of Championship every year with the odd Prenier League season.

Am I alone in finding all this bollocks more than a little patronising? Hull City must have enjoyed the easiest route to the final in the history of the FA Cup and are in Europe by default. The OP seems to have allowed himself to be carried away on the wave of euphoria, so much so that he seems to think he is supporting one of the Premier Leagues elite?

The reality is that Hull City's Premier League status can best be described as fragile, they have no academy to speak of and the whole infrastructure is dependent on the whim of an individual who has shown himself to have little understanding or regard for the interests of supporters or the game itself.

Sheffield Uniteds set up is light years ahead of Hull City, we are now on a firm financial footing, have a successful sensible manager and a top academy developing players for the first team. Sheffield is geographically superior enabling us to attract the supporters and players necessary to maintain a successful side, a Hull is a shit hole with half of its catchment area being the North Sea.

'I hope we don't knick your best players' 'So I'm sorry if we take players that would get you promoted' are you for real? Harry Maguire would rather stay at Bramall Lane and Steven Quinn had to be forced out of the door. I predict now that our relative positions in the football pyramid will see us above you within five years, so take your 'we'll meaning' comments, enjoy your day in the sun but with the greatest of respect, Fuck off!

Well said. I did think it was a pat in the head from the op and thus the subtlety of my first reply may have been lost.

Basically though hull can Fuck right off with their scummy patronising bollocks.

You won't be "taking" any of our players, mate. We no longer have to sell them.
