Just voted "Never" in the poll, I just can't see it happening.

Shocking, absolutely done with this club. This club is a circus and I can't be arsed with wasting my time and energy with it anymore or on here.

Adios bitches.
I bet you post again even if it's with a new log in

No mention of any staff coming or going. Looks like a straight swap of manager only unless I’m missing something
There's been no announcement with the old staff but they almost certainly will be going too...maybe allowing Wilder to have a chat to see if any can stay or not before it's all confirmed

Names are irrelevant, if you seriously believe there's NOT A SINGLE MANAGER that can turn things around for us, I despair.
Imagine we paid the money for Dyche and his technical support team, he would walk in and wonder WTF is this tinpot club with zero infrastructure. Chris knows the lay of the land, he knows 75% of the team, in the football world he is right now the safest pair of hands to turn to.

It's not forever it's to make sure the 100 million they have spent doesn't become 40 million in Leauge 1. Whilst Chris staves off relegation - the yanks will sort the company out, they are green but from what I can see they are going to give it a proper go.

Lets not go all mardy arse on Wilder- back him - if he's badge thumping at Saturday at 5pm - F****** Brilliant.

I think the English record is Martin Allen managing Barnet 5 separate times

I see it as you, safe pair of hands, but... i don't think it'll be that nailed on. It's not his team anymore, they're on their arse and his record post xmas wasn't fantastic for a team that was pissing the league.

I'm more pissed with the owners, because I don't think they've got a clue what they want.

It's not my job to appoint the manager.

You're saying Wilder is the only manager that can turn us around. The statement is ridiculous.

When and where did I say that? I’m open to suggestions. Give me a name or two!

Ecstatic that he's back. Hes exactly what we need in our current position.

Couple of years with Lord Wilder and then we can properly start doing some succession planning. He can't gomon forever, he won't want to, but it gives the club time to do it properly with Wilder's input rather than a leap of faith and quite possibly another total shit show.

50/50 now if to go on Saturday or go for a few drinks on Chatsworth Rd Chesterfield with the Mrs.

What with tactical genius Wilder with his pass it backwards sideways football, not too mention the unbelievable atmosphere ive been promised now we have safe standing, a trip to Longstanton spice museum sounds more appealing.
Go with the Mrs, we don't need none stop negative posters or supposedly fans like you.
Do you ever have any thing positive to say about the club.

Any links to the interview with wilder ?

Not nailed on - to talk of Promotion/ Play Offs right now is La La Land. But I do think right now what we need is to revert to type- become hard to beat, Gus, Tyrese and Ings snatch a goal here and there. Mid table is a good target anything after that is a bonus.

I just don't go with all this want to watch rock n roll football, vision for future- road map to keep us in the Prem crap. I'd love to have stratospheric ambition - but realistically we are always going to be that team thats miles bigger than Rotherham United but nowhere near Man United but thats OK - Championships great when you are up around Play Offs.

And another good thing is Wednesday fans absolutely detest him - which make me like him more.

Pathetically predictable.

COH talked about the club finally doing things differently. A more progressive style of football and a modern way of recruitment.

They’ve now ripped all that up because they got the wrong man in the summer and we end up with the football dinosaur again, and the risk of Brewster/ Cannon style signings whenever we have some money in the transfer kitty.

By reappointing Wilder, not only will it just continue the odd promotion on the back of turgid football & no hope of getting a foothold in the Premier League, it also asks serious questions of our ownership due to how easily they have folded like a pack of cards.

Clubs don’t always make the right calls, they certainly didn’t with Selles, but they had made the right calls re a change in how the club do things and now they show how flighty they are by just binning all that off and going back to Mike Bassett style management, instead of keeping the long term mission in place and trying to hire the right man second time round.

I don’t think I can handle watching Wilder’s grinding football, or listening to the crap that he spouts.

Utterly depressing.
See ya then. Don't slam the turnstile on the way out.

Non stop negative what the %£#@ are you on about,
I don't rate Wilder and take exception when people say safe standing will increase the atmosphere when it won't.
Can not think of anything else i have said that was negative.
While you are here can you tell me how I go about getting a ticket for my dad for the game against Leicester on the 1st of Jan he has not been for years and has no buying record ?

Back in the day we'd stand at the bar and chew the fat about the game. Those that didn't go to the game (no time/part time supporters) generally kept shtum cos they'd get a gob full if they were too opinionated. We knew that we were just laymen and fans, we had our two penneth but nobody thought they knew more than the professionals employed within the game.

Nowadays everybody is a pseudo football manager/coach/physio/agent/chairman ........................ the fuckin internet, great init!

People moan and say why can't we just change culture and be more like Brentford or Brighton etc etc. Well if it was that easy there would be 80 odd other Brentford/Brightons in the league. It isn't that simple, obviously!

I'd love to go the match, see us win 5 nowt every time playing lovely flowing, beautiful, creative, innovative football. I'd also like a 12 inch dick (but I suppose i'll have to make do with the 14 I've got). It ain't going to happen. So I'll take winning 3 points sometimes ugly and enjoy my post match beer.

This escalated quickly..

Weather or not he's the only choice, and our only option who knows? but a lot of people thought he should never have gone in the first place, I mean he wasn't the first manager at united to lose a PO final was he..

A change of direction, yeah I wanted that, but not at the cost of going back to league one, and grinding back up over 10 years (like Sunderland - was it 10 years, it seemed like it) but for now, we can be certain we wont be relegated, and under seles, we would have gone down, nailed on..

Under seles Wendy would have beat us..

If you're in doubt whether its a good move, just watch the reaction of your pig workmates to wilders return.
