Made me laugh there. I'm one of the few it seems that would be fine with Rohl coming but I think I'm in the minority.
I’d be fine with it. Decent pedigree. Worked miracles with a shit pig squad. But hey.. managed Wednesday so can’t be seen to be in charge.. awkward when Del Geary is running the academy and he played at…? Oh, Wednesday.

Del also played for us and has never hid his preference for us over them

Possibly but not sure how gardening leave works legally.
Sheff Utd tell Wilder to stay at home and he’ll receive his monthly salary for the next 2 years as per his contract.

If Wilder is offered a job at another then he must approach SUFC to agree permission and a break/ cessation of his contract
So United effectively save money because they don’t have to pay Wilder his full contract.

Just wondered about the law regards gardening leave…..if that person is still being paid his usual monthly salary then can that club simple ask him to return?

You are still banging on about gardening leave?

gardening leave
an employee's suspension from work on full pay for the duration of a notice period, typically to prevent them from having any further influence on the organization or from accessing confidential information

At least make your mind up…….

Just been told.

Compensation package being negotiated. Announcement on Monday,

they hope a new guy is in place for Charlton but more likely in time for Oxford, but no consensus on who it should be as yet.
Who we lining up? 🤔

So it's not a hiatus of being nagged by her indoors to mow the lawn? 😯

So are you saying he doesn't have a garden?

In my head all I can see is Chris Wilder's garden after all that leave.

If Selles is sacked I assume that both he and Wilder will still be being paid by the club as both were under contract when sacked / if sacked. Makes sense for them to approach Wilder than recruit a 3rd manager having 3 on the payroll plus brand new staff would be madness. That said ive seen his name mentioned by a few on here Dave Challinor at Stockport progressive on the up manager appreciate it's a risk maybe one that could backfire??
Not as big a risk as Selles was .Challinor has the nasty habit of winning.games unlike Selles

At least with Wilder they know what they are getting but if he came back he would be insufferable thinking he could do just as he pleases because his ego would tell him he is unsackable for a third time.

When has he been sacked twice?

Spend 24 hours sounding out Dyche, if he’s up for it and affordable go get him

Next 48 speak to wilder and cooper, decide if you roll the dice again with a new bloke, or go safe, but swallowing pride for a multimillionaire brash Yank may be tough

1) dyche
2) cooper
3) wilder
Given that ‘shortlist ‘ should I assume you’re a board member?
1) beyond our reach (as you imply)
2) (very recently) employed elsewhere
3)(recently) dismissed (by the lacking in humility “brash Yank”)
4)…….?

Wish I was, could do a better job off mi nut!

Would he be interested in the‘project’? If so pay the man

Apologies, been away and missed cooper

I wanted him out, but short termism, we need a rescue job and can’t think of anyone else who could come in and get us into playoffs - we don’t have time for someone who doesn’t know the club to get to/another fuck up job

Bit late, I announced it on Shoutbox last night and put my replacement manager in the results list below. Old news attention grabbing no source not ITKer.

Don’t think dyche is out of our reach. £10m for cannon, pay dyche or anyone else similar. Which one is more likely to get us premiership football.
