Just took a look at the clock here in Ohio (11.20am) and it was just 24 hours ago that we were leading 1-0 and on our way to loads of money and the EPL.

No. There was 3 too choices for job when Wilder left Selles, O’Neil and Rohl. Which is what makes me think we will go down that route again.

No he wanted the job and it came down to him and Selles but they went with Selles. Rohl wanted the job and was pushing for it massively but we thought it would cause to much uproar. You’re right though they were looking for a change even if we went up.

I haven’t heard anything since the game but I was told after Millwall he would be given at least until the Ipswich game then if we had still lost all them he’d be gone. I hope that situations changed because we’re wasting season here.

Clearly there are other problems but he either needs support or replacing.

Honestly, wouldn't touch O'Neil at all, even if we sack Selles - was crap at Wolves and we need the next guy to hit the ground running & turn a dire start around quick - has to be someone with pedigree/ experience...

They were 19th on 9 points having lost 11 of 16 games under O’Neil with a goal difference of -16.

Vitor Perieira came in, Agbadou was the only January signing made. They finished 16th winning 10, drawing 3 and only losing 8 more. Ending on 42 points. 4 above Spurs, 17 above Leicester in 18th…

His stats show he was CRAP at wolves, we don’t need another unproven manager… what’s wrong with you?

I reckon he’ll be around to complete the formalities of the window. It’s too late to change direction and players like Matos are still good long term buys.

Beyond that, as mentioned, any game is a waste. It’s one thing having belief, it’s another being too thick or stubborn to change something that doesn’t work.

Peck isn't the problem, not having any other defensive midfield players around him is.

Nail on head here. Losing Souza and moving Hamer away from attacking midfield has massively damaged our results. So many points from Hamer magic moments last season. Soumare clearly not impressing Sellés after he was dealt the killer blow of selling Souza. O hare and Hamer also too far apart now. We need Chong, Davies, Arblaster and Soumare to improve matters and not successfully replacing Souza has horribly exposed other player weaknesses in attack and defence that were becoming apparent in later stages of last season. Tanganga and Ings good signings in this respect.

I thought last season he was one of the best young players we've had at the club, he was bright, got stuck in and played the ball so well. I don't think he's lost that at all. My reservations last season and this will always be in his decision making and execution when shooting. He needs to be less monty in front of goal.

But i really think that with an enforcer alongside him, he goes back to his normal game. Last season with Souza, they alternated, one deep, one in front, but they could both play, both get stuck in, both could be useful in the air. Now he has Hamer and O'Hare, neither can make a tackle

Absolutely spot on.

Even Cruyff or Zidane, at their peak, couldn't function as a midfield unit of one. It comes back to RS and his 'tactics'.
