CONFIRMED Tahith Chong signs from Luton Town

He had decent moments in the PL with Luton tbf.

Don't mind the signing bit not exactly tearing up any trees either.

Agree….not sure if it’s the Afro that’s making him stand out
But I’ve often thought he looks lively and tended to stand out as being one of Luton’s better players.

Reading some of the Luton comments….it seems he has big potential but often flatters to deceive.
Let’s hope he realises this is a big opportunity for him to ressurect his career.

It’s not a fancy signing but suspect he’ll be quite cheap….so it’s more of a sensible gamble signing.

I normally hate when other people do this, but this is so glaringly wrong that I have to point out the examples that immediately spring to mind of fans being about as wrong as it gets:
- Coventry fans about Fleck
- Ipswich fans about Didzy
- Leeds fans about Sharp
- Birmingham fans about Duffy
- Brentford Fans about John Egan
- Brentford fans about Jack O'Connell (Brentford fans are idiots, by the way)
- Stoke fans about Tom Cannon (a lot said they didn't think he was up to much, but none of them fully articulated that he was a piece of wood masquerading as a professional footballer)

Redmond for Hamer would be the biggest downgrade in the clubs history. I would imagine our interest in Cian Ashford is linked to a potential Hamer move. Hopefully there are others on the list, as Ashford would take time to develop into a top Championship player.

Oh I don't know, Jostein Flo for Brian Deane takes some beating surely? Harry Maguire v Harrison McGahey wasn't a great evolution either.

A positive contribution. Links well with those around him and generally composed. Great cross for the goal considering he had to delay as support hadn't arrived in time for an early cross. If he stays fit he will definitely rotate in an out on the wing.

Considering how little football he has had that was a really impressive performance. If brooks has real competitive pressure to perform well that's no bad thing and bringing one or the other on against tired sides if they are both in it will a good weapon.

Tanganga had a bit of a meltdown. As the game wore on his decision making and passing took a dive. Thats a concern to be addressed.
