Frankly that's the only explanation that makes any sense. Why would anyone sack a manager who just finished 3rd and replace with a manager who finished 21st and had been sacked for that underwhelming performance?

The owners had some "great ideas" via AI and wanted a manager who would implement them. For that you need a manager with no bargaining power because you've given them a job the level of which they couldn't hope to get elsewhere.

Selles is probably a nice bloke; however, He is not the right manager for us. The owners have made a mistake, so do the right thing and sack him.
Don't leave it too late; the longer the wait, the worse it will get. If you don't want Chris Wlder to come back, then point a propper manager. Who has played professional football and has the experience of managing a club.

What is happening with the youth setup wasn't it set up to mirror the 1st team. Wasn't it kept similar to make it an easy transition so the young players could fit right in to the same system. Just wondering since their coaches have now left and gone elsewhere all at once .

We were incredibly fortunate to get that many and the football was awful.

Agree with most of what you stated there, don't think that Cooper would come near us TBH though and other options would likely have to be considered.

Giving him the window to bring players in and see where we are in Oct/nov is the only real move here because the most likely result is it’s just another football version of Groundhog Day, if it’s Clearly not working by then then give new guy the Jan window to keep us up
