your mad if you think sacking Selles fixes our players not being able to make basic 10 yard passes or track their man off the ball.

Not sure what the solution is (it’s definitely not bringing wilder back) but something needs to change soon.

Still don’t understand the appointment. We sack a bloke that would have more than likely mirrored last season if not gone one better and then employ someone who’s done, well nothing. I wouldn’t class avoiding relegation with Hull a success either. This lot is so Utd.

I'm starting to join the "Selles out" crew but if you think CW would have bettered last season without a huge change in approach then you're deluded!

Gone for yeah. But make no mistake. The players are cunts who haven’t showered themselves in glory. They’re a massive contributor.
Can't put effort in, find a pass, keep possession, find space at throw ins, think for themselves

They've sh*t the bed.

They're better than that IF they want to be

But they'll get a free pass as its Selles' fault they can't even do the basics, apparently

Not having it. They don't fancy it as they're buddy manager got the push

Wilder irritated me, I quite like Selles as a person & think he talks really well in press conferences & I borderline feel sorry for him with what’s happening.

But we’re absolutely dog shit, I don’t think he’s got the right coaching team. He’s got no football experience in there at all.

Cut our losses while there’s a few good experienced managers that are unemployed. Wilder got sacked for a lot less

See poll below, will see what the snapshot is
I've voted unsure, but I will revisit this after the Charlton game. I can't see us getting anything from Boro and Ipswich.

It appears that players are not playing for the manager and I would expect that if we lose to Charlton at home on the 20th September then he's gone 100%

The new players that are coming in are decent so keep the recruitment up for the new management team.

I really can't see Selles being here much longer.

Not yet.

And, if we do, we might find that good managers aren't particularly interested in replacing him. I think the consensus around football was that Wilder was unlucky to lose his job. If Selles only gets 4 games, these owners are going to get a reputation as being ones to avoid.
I thought the whole ethos was fail quickly for the yanks - they have get Wilder back

Get shut of him now before it's too late. He's absolutely clueless & it's obvious the players don't want him.

I still say it was time to move Wilder on although I wasn't enthusiastic when Séllés was appointed. Still I thought give the bloke a chance, the owners haven't helped him at all, four games in and we have yet to see a permanent signing pull on a United shirt.
After today I think I have seen enough I'm yet to be convinced what formation we are playing or what the game plan is yet another goal conceded down the left side of our defence you could drive a bus through the gaps. Any half decent team will score three against us but let's be reyt Millwall are just a set of cloggers who know the plan and play to it. Our player look lost sloooow build up is pass across the back to a full back who stops and turn when confronted by a defender and passes the ball back, no movement up front as play Cannon we may as well start with ten men he has never been a winger. The only player to press today was O'Hare the rest strolled about in a dream world. No sign at all that Séllés has a clue how to get this set of players to function so for me he has to go. That's not to say he is the only problem that starts with the owners and the players need to step up too they are better than this or I thought they were. Oh and I was laughed at when I said this could be a relegation fight when we appointed Séllés. You're not laughing now.

I'm not yet Selles out but at the same time I'm 99% certain that it's not going to work under Selles if that makes sense!? It's just very harsh to sack a manager after just 3 league games and that's like something Watford do but we know that unless things drastically change then Selles is not the man.

I was really impressed with Hull when they beat us. They played with a real defensive unity for starters and I believe Hull conceded the fourth least goals under Selles in the league from when Selles joined but right now we look far too open at the back and totally one dimensional going forward. If we can get a decent right winger in I'm sure we'll improve but we're not seeing this exciting, 100% effort football that we thought we'd get from Selles. It just seems like Slav all over again.

I know a few of our fans have said we should be able to do well without needing a Warnock type etc but I'm starting to think we just need to go back to basics and make us tough to beat for starters. Sean Dyche anyone?! I'd snap your hand off to have him if honest.

More realistically Danny Rohl anyone?! I think he'd accept it and we've seen how he got Wednesday defensively sound in his time there. Anyway, until Selles is likely sacked then it is what it is but he needs to get results and fast because I can't even recall a blades manager with a start as bad as this, ever. Even Slav did better than this.

Our current situation lies firmly at the feet of COH.
They sack a guy (love him.or hate him) who got us 12 mins away from Prem. Who got us 92 points. Any other season that would be automatic promotion.
They replace him with a guy who escaped relegation on the last day of the season by the skin of his teeth.
They then allow ten championship experienced players to leave.
And replace these with FOUR players. Two from Bulgarian league's who nobody has heard of. And two with no championship experience at all. Only today do we get a defender with any kind of championship quality.
What did they expect?
Selles is not the man for this job! But to expect him to perform with the support he's been given from COH is unfair. Anybody would struggle under these circumstances.
Will CO H hold their hands up and admit they've made mistakes, pleural. I doubt it.
They'll probably sack him and confound their error with another substandard appointment.
I know what I'd do. It wouldn't be popular in some quarters. But I'd do it.

I didn't want to direct people (as it I thought I could), the thing is if we lost three because of injuries/bad referring/missed penalties I think we could have stomached it.

The fact is performances have been dreadful as well so there's nothing to cling onto.
Don't you think we were a little unlucky today ?
Admittedly first half was dreadful, but I thought we were better second half especially when Brooks(Cannon is not a winger)came on.
If the Millwall lad signs we still desperately need a right winger, Striker and midfielder.

Hope thats not get Wilder back because that would be me finished.

Im in the unsure camp. I think hes got half a dozen games to the International break. Yet if there is a repeat of todays lack of desire and tactics at the Charlton home game he may be gone before then. Directors dont like being confronted in their seats.

What is alarming for everyone is the drop off in form from the first 45 minutes against BC and early pre season games. Team selection and formation is bizarre. The players look clueless, lack desire and leadership. The manager isnt getting that out of them. When that happens there is only 1 road to go down. This is the first real test of the owners. It will be interesting to see if they have the desire to remain a Championship club and whether they will be as ruthless in parting ways as they were with CW.

Really??? In a season where the points haul would have secured automatic promotion in the last 8 out of 10 campaigns. Why would we have needed a huge change in approach, that just doesn’t make any sense. All last season goes to show was we were terribly unlucky. I hate harping on about Wilder but surely you can admit the decision to get rid when they did in hindsight has been a mistake. Wilder deserved the chance that Seles is getting this season and if he’d have started this season like Selles then we could have sacked him and brought Selles in to balls it up like he is doing.

Had my full support until halftime today.

Not changing formation, tactics or personnel (Cannon) at that point was criminal.

Unfortunately it shows he’s either unwilling or unable to change his plan (sound familiar?)

Both answers mean get rid ASAP, while there’s still a season to salvage.

So far there is no identity whatsoever and you can bet your life the next game will play out the same as the previous 4.
Playing Cannon on the right wing an utter disaster and why did he wait for about an hour to make the change for Brooks?
Peck isolated in midfield- he needs Soumare with him. Gus playing a Norwood role and O’Hare a player I love, is simply no midfielder.
This is down to Selles.
I know Selles must have a vision of how he would like us to play- but he seems incapable of communicating this to the players.
We only looked threatening when he threw on his “Hail Mary” subs.
Has to go and go soon but will the Board have the humility to admit they got it wrong?
Very very concerned- this team looks like a relegation side based on those displays so far. That’s my two penneth anyway.
