Obviously we will never know, but with Wilder as manager I do not think we would have lost either of those league games. Not saying we would have won both, but I don't think we would have lost either.
Easy comment to make because there’ll never be evidence to prove it right or wrong.

The starting 11 doesn't win you games if you have no options off the bench to change the flow of the match.
Give it a rest. It’s a decent championship starting 11 that should cause issues and Brooks, Óne & Cannon are decent enough subs.

It was shite today in a game a well managed side go and win

And this is a forum where people discuss their thoughts.
If I say “I don’t think it would have been any different under Wilder” and you disagree it’s not really a discussion.

It’s really easy to say Wilder would have done better, with him we’d still have Moore and Brewster clogging up the bench, wage bill ans treatment table, possibly some of the other January targets. Anel and Souza would still be gone. JLT would be captain and the players would be knackered after 60 minutes. Christ knows what would have happened results wise.

I doubt that we would still have Moore or Brewster. The owners would have the say on that, not Wilder.
This is a forum where we discuss things. I said that it's something that is unprovable in my original post. But, my opinion is that if he had been retained we might have one or two more points than the zero points we currently have. Not saying we would be promotion challengers, but my personal opinion is we would be doing better than we are currently doing.

Based on last season I’d tend to agree, irrelevant now though, COH pulled the trigger and if this carries on we’ll have another manager before the winter.

The players not playing for him. He has to go.

The question to be asked is how confident are the board in this new plan?

How crucial is it to try and go up this season?

Because what we don't want to see is Selles sign 4 players to suit his game. But then it still not work and he is sacked after 8 games and the window is shut.

I really want to see us turn it around fast. Even with some new signings coming in where are any signs of performances changing?

Also fans having a pop at Hamer. Frankly idiotic and should be careful what you sow. Don't want any key players want to think about moving on right now.
We've lost too much quality as it is, without much in replacement.

It's been said already but you have to ask the question. Why sack Wilder for "change" but not really committ to that change from the off.

Get this cunt out of our club , fucking out of his depth, stick to league 1 fire fighting

Ruben. Bramall Lane isn't the place to learn how to be a manager. Nowt against you old lad, but do yourself (and your health) a favour because if you stick around it's going to get ugly beyond belief. Not your fault, and no blame attached to you, but your employers are utterly clueless... and also more than willing yo hide behind you. Remember... no matter how high you go in your career... there's always a wanker boss. And you Ruben, my friend, have a bunch of full weight wankers above you.

I'm starting to think that no matter how many players Selles gets in, he's just not going to succeed here.

Players look they have no idea what the plan is and so uncohesive
Agree, but no manager would succeed with a squad with as many holes as ours. 3 games into the season and still 4 key players short is shambolic

The starting 11 is much better than were seeing though, even with no Souza, Anel and Moore.

The formation for starters is not working. We were told by Reading fans that he is stubborn on tactics. He needs to get Hamer as part of a three behind the one or even 442. I would suggest 352 but he wants to play wingers so it's unlikely we'll see that now.

7 of the players who started today where regulars in the team that won 92 points. . With that nucleus we shouldn't be getting zero points against 3 middling teams.

Wingers. That is what is doing my head in. He’s supposed to favour playing with wingers and we spend an entire half giving the ball to a bloke at 7 who clearly isn’t a footballer never mind a winger and when we do get it to our other tricky winger, he cuts in every time. No structure. No idea.

Barry is too predictable for sure. He needs to vary his game more. Inverted wingers are all the rage now but im not convinced it's working with Barry.

Then we put Brooks on who utterly refuses to take his man on. Seriki or Ukaki should have come on for Cannon. Just somebody prepared to get past a man.

No depth to this squad, not many options on that bench to change the game.

We really need more players through the door if they want to this to work with Selles or any manager.

The plan is working. We are creating a game of chaos. Unfortunately , it suits the opposition better than us..

Reality !
