We've played 2 games - by now we'd have paid about 500k in fines because neither the manager nor the squad could keep their temper

I'll take a few teething problems then success in the long run over crap football and a squad of petulant children always fighting

Who, JLT? Been like that for years, and is probably part of the reason he's on his way to Wrexham. Issue is, we can't move him on till we replace him

Sellas specifically decided to name him Captain. Maybe, hopefully, he's going but if that was the plan all along he wouldn't be named that.

He's the most senior player we have that starts and will have a lot of ears in the dressing room - it's a logical appointment

I feel like Selles could name anyone captain and you'd specifically still have an issue with it

it is going to take time, a few bits that were a hard watch last night but at least looks like slowly we are pulling the right pieces into the jigsaw, Bindon looked good when he came on but Robbo had lost his head massively and once we recruit a couple of CB either on Loan or perm which would be the preference we can let him go and have a new challenge at Wrexham if they are still in for him after that last night!

Thought the new Midfielder looked good in patches of the game but will pick up and carry a lot of cards, as he is very reckless in the challenge, thought the winger was also a bit reckless at times and offered very little, not overly sure he will set the world on fire!

As long as we have in three or four more over the next couple of weeks in through the door in the positions we need should start to look all a little bit better and more games under the new system the more the players will hopefully adapt, the attacking against bristol was amazing but the gaps we are leaving everywhere on the pitch including the game yesterday is still the most worrying part of this, we were toothless in attack yesterday but again lots of changes and a few that seemed off the pace.

Nah I specifically detest Robinson. It used to be just because he has a brain fart in him but it's now morphed into his attitude too

Burrows & Campbell just not the personality for it.
O'Hare , if I'm pushed , leads by example , but we really need a "leader of the defence" as captain.

Keepers can be captain - see Van Der Sar, Neuer, Buffon...

To summarise, people are upset because our reserves played badly against a reasonably strong Birmingham side. We were shit, but only lost because a youth player played a nervous back pass in the first 5 mins. With that said, we need to sign a back 4 today. Ideally today. Or we just rely on Hamer to score worldies all season.
