Looking like we've missed out the play offs now so who do/don't you want in this league next year?

Looks like Wolves & Brentford are pretty much up and out of the play off teams I'd say Preston will be the hardest to beat next year so would prefer them to go up.

Rotherham and Orient have had fantastic seasons, orient have no gone back to just mediocre and no doubt will be mid-table next season. Rotherham - can they mount another challenge if they miss out this time? I'm not sure.

From the champ... Looks like 3 from Yeovil, Millwall, Barnsley, Charlton & Blackpool.
I'd probably take the current bottom 3. Blackpool & Charlton could have too much in this division.

Then from league 2.. Anybody really, can't see any of them mounting a challenge (maybe Fleetwood as they have wonga)

Good post matt but i dont think we have absolutely anybody to be worried about next season. If or should i say when cloughy gets his people in i.e signings, we will be a force to be reckoned with next season ,just my view,im sure we will get a few blades worried about every team next season:eek:they cant help ito_O

Agree Wizadry , the only thing I'd look for is how far Blades would need to travel , so coming down Think cider drinkers is the most out of it place , and coming up top 3 and York least expensive for Blades to get to , when we get the players in that Mr Clough needs let them worry about us .
UTB .

Yes dublin good thing to think about the travel,we have had some great away followings this year aswell considering the upheavel and distance weve had to travel ,900 to crawley on a tuesday night is incredible for example.Lets reward the diehards with some closer trips and perhaps get a few more supporters on the way like ive no doubt we will do under this talented manager

Not only that but if we get a few more closer to home ie " Sheffield " , Flying into Manchester won't be such a hassle May be able to get over for a few more in our promotion winning season . :)

Wednesday to be relegated, blades to be promoted. Other than that I don't care.

Suppose dingles, donny and Leeds relegated would make things more fun in league 1 for Rotherham. Especially when we turn them over in the play off final to pick up our second trophy

would like to see wolves, brentford and pne depart this league by going up.
I would like to see stevenage, notts county and crewe go,as i dont like them.

Out of the ones dropping from the champ.Yeovil look doomed, think barnsley will go,and milwall.

Up from l2.Scunny,rochdale and chessy.

Nowt to fear next term.

I disagree. I think we'll be better next season than this, but I don't think we'll just sweep all before us, and I think our chances of automatic promotion will depend heavily upon whether there are two other teams who can run up really big points totals.

In that respect, I definitely want Wolves and Brentford promoted out of the division. How effective Preston are next season may depend a bit upon where the match-fixing thing goes, but none of the other teams in the play-off positions worry me too much, so probably best to see Preston go up.

Coming down I'd take Millwall, Yeovil and Barnsley as being the least likely to get 90+ points next season.

Just on the spot fixing thing, if they are found to have been involved then whilst it is stated the final result was not changed, it does involve in-play stuff and therefore there should be points deductions or even relegation for Preston. 7th place for the play-off anyone?

I, like a lot of Blades, have always had abit of a soft spot (fner fner) for Rovrum but amazed at how many of the twats have either forgotten or not been made aware of the help we gave them when they were up the proverbial shit creek

I think the league would be easier if Wolves, Brentford and Preston went up. I don't see Rotherham or Orient being anything like as good next time around.

Going down I wouldn't lose too much sleep over Yeovil, Barnsley and Blackpool who seem to be in a right mess. Millwall will be strong in this league once Holloway gets a full pre-season

For the fun of it
I would like to see Rotherham go up, expect Wolves and Brentford also to get auto so no need for wishful thinking here since its almost certain. Don't care who gets relegated from our league as long it is not us.
Yeovil, Milwall and Blackpool to go down to this leauge.
Chesterfield to go up, Burton and Scunthorpe I would like to see finish in the autos with York winning the playoffs would be likeable.
I like to see local teams succeeded excluding you know who.

Going to plenty of away games, I keep thinking about who goes up and who comes down. If we can get Rochdale, Scunthorpe and Chesterfield promoted automatically, and either Burton or York through the play offs, then that really cuts the mileage down for next year.

From League One, I would like to see Stevenage, Colchester, Crewe and Carlisle relegated. Cuts the mileage down again. Carlisle for the sole reason that they have Gary Mundane, gaol machine, in their team.

Championship wise, it would be better if Yeovil stayed up, but I'm not sure they will. Realistically, Barnsley, Millwall and Yeovil would not be as threatening as say Birmingham, Charlton and Blackpool.

Ending up with those teams in this division will make it a lot easier for Unitedites travelling away next season, and if we do well, should see some really big followings too.
