6 foot 4, commanding centre back - comfortable both in the air and on the ground. Also has a goal record better than some of our CFs in the past, scoring 11 in 95.

Never played in the Championship, but did have an impressive season with Accrington Stanley in League One when he was 20/21 years old. Has come on a lot as a player since then.

Fun fact about the Belgian League. Did you know the top 6 teams go into a 10-match mini-league at the end to determine the champion? Despite never being higher than 3rd all last season, Union-SG went on a 10-match unbeaten run in the mini-league to win the entire thing. I'd be fuming if I supported poor Genk.

Can't imaging wages are that high in Belgium. Can he be tempted to come back to the North?

It's not just if you win the mini-league though - they do this weird thing where they allocate half of the points from the regular season instead of the full points. Probably to make the play offs a bit more interesting.
Gent for example - would have had to win ALL 10 of their play off games to win the overall league.

It sounds weird, but it's fair. USG accumulated more points over 40 games than any other team.

Play offs could be a coin toss and we'd still lose. We'd offer to supply the coin, bring a double-headed one, and then call tails.

Only in a country where they can’t even agree on a language would such a system exist.

Hopefully the AI system we are using has already flagged him up as potential. Just need scouts to watch footage of last season and then we will know. Signings like this are very good value for money. 100% for me. There are a lot of brits now playing abroad across the top 10 leagues - we should be looking at all of the "sensible" ones.
