Oné replaced him in pre-season. Just need to tie him down now and give him some of Moore’s wages
Tie him down? Oné is contracted to 2029 and if he's on a deal that long you can guarantee that it's incentivised based on his progression. If he ends this season as a first team player he'll be paid as such.

No loss really. Only scored 5 goals. He's slow and immobile and wouldn't fit into a system that is set up to hit teams with quick movement and runs off the ball. The fact we made profit on a 33 year old striker after one season is great business.

I have nothing against Moore, but he'll be another like Darius Henderson who someone will mention one day and I'll go "Oh, yeah. I forgot he played for us."

I think in light of our change of play it's a good move, a faster more dynamic forward is needed, but we lose that threat in the air. Not sure Oné is ready?
It's also decent financially as I'd guess he was on a wage in the higher bracket.
Yeah, he cocked up with that shocker of a pass, but that's footy folks, anyone can cock up at any time!
I wish him well, just not against us - which feels as though it's nailed on!

Moore will be fine for them. providing they don’t give him the ball on the halfway line. He has a habit in vital games of passing it straight to the opposition without looking & gift wrapping them a winner.

Good business for someone past his best who added very little for us.
He had one or two decent games but didn’t score enough goals and was wasteful with the ball all season - particularly right at the very end of it!
I won’t miss him but wish him well.

The best player for Sunderland in the playoff final was Kieffer Moore.
Got a good fee for him.

I’m looking forward to the day when I forget Darius Henderson played for us.

Bloody hell! I had forgotten Darius Henderson played for us. The nightmares will return tonight.

Bad touch, slow, not that good in the air, bad link up play, bad infront of goal.

I won’t be too upset that he’s gone.

Hopefully an end to aimless hoofball.

In the league home game against Bristol City he did the exact same for their late equaliser. Casual, lazy flick which gifted them possession and dropped us 2 points at a crucial stage where we could've opened the gap on 3rd place Burnley even further.

Ok, mistakes happen. I was disappointed in a striker of his quality & experience to make that mistake but it was a one-off...until the PO Final where he did the exact same and got the exact same result. About 8 weeks passed between both incidents.

Making that mistake once was forgiveable, but to do it again in one of the biggest games of our history is absolutely unforgivable.

Whenever I watched him, his body language was that of someone who had no desire to play football anymore. On a group chat I suggested he's ready to become a contestant on Celeb Love Island....turns out he'd prefer to be on Disney+ instead.

Good riddance.

He played about half a dozen games with a hernia last season. He should have taken an operation but wanted to play through it for the team.

GLTTL

Wrexham building up their Welsh identity.

Danny Ward and now Moore. Aren’t they chasing Nathan Broadhead too?

I think they’ve done enough to be midtable.

Carthorse off to the Racecourse.

Glttl. One of those Moore lay off specials on Boxing Day please.
